Watched your videos on repairing different parts of the washer such as, the tub, agitator, tub balance springs. The problem was found when I removed the agitator. The neck of the tub was almost totally rusted through. Had I had a spanner wrench it would have been a lot easier. Several sprays with GP Blaster penetrating oil helped loosen the nut but punch and hammer damaged the nut to where I didn't want to reuse it. I changed the brake shoes and the clutch assembly which also comes with the driver cam. I also changed the metal brake operating cam. Only problem was in disconnecting wire "bus" connector from switch. I was unable to
remove connector without damaging it. I "jumped" connector to prove switch was faulty. This also allowed my wife to continue to do laundry while part arrived. I ordered a 3 circuit connector, but this was not the correct part. I ended up removing 3 wires from old broken connector and attaching them to new switch without a connector. The video associated with the part was easy to understand. The actual repair was easy - maybe 10 minutes. But getting the top casing of the washer fitted back over the base was a huge pain. That took 8 tries to finally get it locked in just right. The washer is 20+ years old though.
The parts were all exactly correct and fit perfectly. Shipping time was excellent. Parts arrived in about 2 days with "standard" shipping.
