THE WSHER WAS EASY BECAUSE THE DRAIN PUMP HAD TWO PENNIES INSIDE IT AND THEY CRACKED THE HOUSING.EASY FIX REPLACING THE DRAIN PUMP. WORKS LIKE A CHARM. I saw videos on it possibly being the lid switch. I used 2 lead wires to bypass the lid switch, which indicated it was indeed the lid switch that was faulty.
