I called AppliancePartsPros.com and they helped me diagnose the problem for this very nice, and well designed refrigerator, that I wanted to keep rather than recycle at the local scrap yard. It turns out that all it needed was a small electric fan (i.e., evaporator fan) to circulate the air from the freezer coils throughout the refrigerator [all other major components were good]. Replaced the evaporator fan motor, fan blade, and two rubber grommets. I was careful to mark screws and bolts with sticky notes to ensure getting them back in the right place. I had all the new parts ready before I started the job because I did not have an extra freezer for my food and I wanted to do this quickly and only once. I ordered 2 new gaskets, one for the freezer and another for the refrigerator. These arrived within a few days. I soaked both in the bathtub filled with hot water for about 20 minutes. My grandson installed both gaskets without any trouble. I duck taped on the freezer door to allow it to 'seep' with the cold air inside the freezer unit as I was told this would help make a better seal. So slick! Removed the nasty bungee cord he had used for a temporary (Ha ha!) fix months before. Checked the model number inside the frig. Googled "Kenmore parts." Scroll-enlarged the nifty diagram. Said, "A hah." Ordered the parts online. Answered the door the next day. Stopped dancing my little jig. The front wheel assembly replacement (WRXO2X12454) was straightforward and easy to do. Took maybe 30 minutes start to finish. The rear wheel assembly (wheel WRO2X10695 and axle WRO1X10604) that was more involved as the original wheel axle is actually a rivet that you have to cut out. 1. I used a vibrating multitool with a carbide blade to cut the axle out. Had to use a pair of vise grips to hold the rivet to keep it from spinning while cutting it. 2. It was a challenge...the shelf unit consists of two plastic end brackets and a long metal shelf. I possessed one original end cap while the metal shelf was inadvertently discarded years ago along with the other broken end bracket. For a few years some white duct tape was pressed into service as a "temporary" bottom shelf.
