Kitchenaid dishwasher kudp02frss2 leak at float switch at front right of unit Richard B. • Mahwah , NJ • December 02, 2016
Removed bottom cover, located leak at float switch, removed and replaced float switch kit.
The toughest part of the repair was removing the Float & Retainer Assembly (in the interior of the machine tank) which broke when I pushed it back and pulled it straight up as suggested in the service manual. The Float Switch Kit (attached to, and below the float, below and outside the tank) has a folding plastic cover which fastens with plastic clips. If you open the switch kit before removing the...

Leaking sump housing Allen G. • Elkhorn , NE • January 15, 2016
I noticed the floor around the dishwasher was starting to get wet and warp the wooden floor. The chopper had gotten out of line and had cut a pinhole into the sump housing and the dishwasher was leaking badly. It was quite easy to repair. Just unhook the drain hose and the wire connectors, twist off the turbidity sensor and waste motor, pull out the shims and the whole assemple comes up and out. The hardest part was pulling the motor off of the assembly, since I wasn't sure if I needed to...

2 broken "wheel and mount assemblies" (same side) and a few misc upper basket plastic part were broken Michael B. • Wellington , FL • December 29, 2015
With the basket out of the dishwasher, the plastic parts basically snap on and off... popped the broken parts off and the new parts on. The 2 wheel and mount assemblies were a little more complicated. The video on the website advises to disconnect the supply line and drain line... I didn't have to do this. I just pulled the dishwasher out of its cabinet a little over a foot and removed the 2 screws holding each assembly in place and removed them. The previous gaskets (2 PER ASSEMBLY)...

This trash compactor is in our vacation home. We never use it and now we are selling the house. When I looked to replace it I was amazed at how expensive a new compactor would cost. What's included: 1 upper rack adjuster assembly Install notes:
- Disconnect power and water supply before servicing
- Remove upper rack end caps/stops and slide the rack out to access the adjuster
- Release or unfasten the old adjuster, transfer any reusable clips/wheels if applicable, and install the new adjuster

This upper dishrack track mounts to the dishwasher tub wall and provides a smooth glide path for the rack rollers. Replacing a damaged track restores easy in-and-out movement and helps keep the upper rack aligned and secure.
- Guides and supports the upper dishrack as it slides in and out
- Maintains rack alignment to prevent binding or derailing
- Typical failure signs: rack jams or falls off, rough/squeaky travel, visible cracks or breaks in the track
- Can keep the rack from fully sliding in, making the door harder to close
Install notes:
- Disconnect power and turn off the water supply before servicing
- Remove the upper rack by releasing the end caps/stops
- Unfasten the old track from the tub (screws/clips), then position and secure the new track
- Reinstall the rack and end caps; verify smooth rack travel before restoring power and water
