The refrigerator/freezer stopped cooling and the beeping alarm that indicates a door is not closed all the way was beeping Carla P. • Keller , TX • July 14, 2015
The alarm beeped for two days before I figured out that the light switch in the freezer was the problem. The light bulb- I thought - had burned out a long time ago, but it was actually frozen to where the light just would not come on. Apparently the freezer door had been left open long enough to thaw out the switch and now the light was working. Problem was that now it wasn't turning off even when the door closed. This was telling the unit that the door was open, hence the continuous...

The Light Bulb is an OEM part for LG refrigerators. It can be used in either the fresh food section or freezer compartment, providing illumination for easy visibility of the stored items.
Causes of a faulty light bulb can include regular wear and tear, reaching the end of its lifespan, or accidental breakage. These factors can result in issues such as a dark or poorly lit interior, making it difficult to see the contents of the refrigerator.
Symptoms of a bad light bulb may include:
- No illumination or dim lighting inside the refrigerator
- A flickering or intermittent light
- Visible damage or broken filament inside the bulb
This LG OEM bulb is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.

LG french door refrigerator lights failed Phil M. • Santa Cruz , CA • November 06, 2019
So I read a number of the earlier posts regarding the required repairs and went forward with all those repairs. In short, I replaced the wiring harness, door switches, and bulbs. The problem still persisted so I went ahead and replaced the control board. That did the trick. So for my unit, LG LFX25960ST replacing all those components were required. All repairs were easy and the videos and posts are all helpful.

Lg refrigerator relay overload clicked on and off every minute while fridge was still cooling Craig S. • Bozeman , MT • June 11, 2017
I feared the compressor might be bad, but wanted to start with these smaller part replacements. It was easy to remove the relay and overload. I asked Appliancepartspro.com chat to suggest the part for me based on model number. Within a minute, chat was able to suggest the parts, made by LG and which came as a combo package for around $100. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/lg-thermistor-assembly-local-cls30820101-ap5953061.html#ixzz4jHZSjJVP .
The parts looked very similar to what I had. I...

One of the refrigerator doors was off kilter and not closing properly. Dean S. • Henderson , NV • April 04, 2018
I was kind of guessing at the parts that I needed, but the parts diagrams were a huge help, and I narrowed it down to the bushing and stopper on the right door. I removed the door and was able to replace the parts pretty easily. Now the fridge door works good as new.
