ER CO was displayed refrigerator stopped working Christopher B. • Colorado Springs , CO • January 16, 2019
Unplugged frig to check connections, everything was ok. When I plugged it back in, nothing worked and the display and ice maker were flickering and clicking. Unplugged the display connector on the main board and could hear clicking from the main board itself.
Replacing the main board and capacitor fixed it. I only replaced the capacitor as a precaution. it may not have been bad, but I did it for good measure. Everything is working great now and I don't have to buy a new refrigerator.

The Rear Evaporator Motor Grommet is an OEM part for LG refrigerators. It's designed to secure and cushion the evaporator motor, ensuring it remains in place and operates quietly. This grommet plays a crucial role in minimizing vibrations and noise from the motor, which can otherwise lead to a disruptive refrigerator operation.

Symptoms of a malfunctioning Rear Evaporator Motor Grommet include:
- Unusual noises or vibrations from the back of the refrigerator.
- The evaporator motor shifting out of place, which can affect cooling efficiency.
- Increased wear on the evaporator motor due to lack of proper cushioning and support.
This OEM LG part is also compatible with some Kenmore models.

Two issues water in the bottom of fridge and clicking noise Leroy B. • Colorado Springs , CO • January 19, 2015
The old filter head was broken at the supply line side connector fell out. The clicking noise eventually caused the fridge to warm up and stop cooling. The clicking was the overload relay tripping. The Start solenoid on the compressor was an Embarco TSD part 513604044. APP does not have that part nor does any else found a similar one on ebay but I ordered the PTC assembly 6749C-0014E. I removed the overload relay and capacitor from the TSD used two pieces of wire and connectors to create the...

Handle broken off ice maker door handle cover screws and rollers lost. Lee H. • Appling , GA • November 07, 2022
Threaded bases for two roller screws were ~ 80% broken off. Used a short (just barely extends past the end of the roller) sheet metal screw to secure the roller in the upper sliding section of the handle (handle in place first). The head was thick enough to fill the gap between the roller and the cover. Filling that gap accurately is important. Need to keep the roller pushed into the recessed area in the door. (Do a test fit with the parts before trying to install them on the door). Turn the...

The condensing fan motor would not turn with power applied. Stephanie H. • Rio Vista , TX • August 29, 2017
I found the condensing fan motor would not turn with power applied. I also found a drain tube cracked and breaking.

Ice and water would not come out. Walter J. • El Cajon , CA • June 14, 2020
Ice and water would not come out from dispenser on my Kenmore elite fridge freezer.
This is because.when you press the glass against the cover to get ice or water
there is a micro switch that goes bad.
To remove the cover, slide the bottom of the cover left or right to remove the cover.
Be careful not to lose spring on the back of the cover.
There is one screw that holds the microswitch in place.
Remove and replace micro switch and then in reverse out the parts back in.
