This washer tub assembly is the stationary outer drum that contains wash water and supports the spin basket and drive components. Replace a cracked or worn tub to stop leaks and restore smooth, quieter spin performance.
First we called for "professional" help. Those guys took $60 of our money and said, "Get a new one, it'll be cheaper than having us fix it." Then I found this site and videos and saw that other people had the same problem I had, common for LG washers after about 7 years, when the bearings fail. If I could replace just the bearings, it would be cheap: your site had the new bearings for around $65. But I saw another user recommended getting a new rear outer tub assembly to save time and the... Read more

Replaced the failing bearings and seal to eliminate loud noise during spin cycle. First the positive feedback regarding the video provided saved time and efforts and was VERY helpful. I recently moved (worse move ever...) and needed shipping bolts to move my washer. I had attempted to purchase this same item on another site, but they had let me go thru the process of purchasing the item a few times only to send me an email later and say they were out of stock. So I was left under the gun to get my appliances out. I received these items really quickly and I wish I had of ordered them here in the first place then I wouldn't have been so stressed. Thank you. I suspected the tub gears where ready to break so I dismantled my LG WM2032HW front load washer. I found the spyder gear corroded and broken. I also found that the stainless steel drum abraded the front tub cover so bad, it was cracked. My washer is an early model and always had standing water in the door seal after a wash. What I learned is LG stopped making the orginal front tub cover and replaced it with one that had a drain hole at the bottom front edge. I also learned that this new... Read more
