Wobbling/loud tub on lg washer (broken spider) Ryan T. • Indianapolis , IN • January 20, 2017
I opted to save myself about $600 by repairing my 8 year old LG washing machine rather than buying a new one. After watching some videos I determined what I needed upon taking my washing machine apart. I ended up replacing the tub (includes spider and shaft), since I could not get the spider part removed from the original tub, as well as the motor bolt (which had broken when I removed it from the original tub's shaft). The spider was cracked and the shaft was wobbling which caused it to...

Symptoms of a problematic damper are
- incomplete or lengthy drying cycles.
- Clothing may still feel damp even after an extended run
- Excessive lint accumulation could also point to improper air management

Pump not working. Kevin H. • La Porte , TX • October 16, 2020
The drain pump was bad. With the help of Appliance Parts Pros, I was able to order the correct part and a couple of other things while I had the washer apart. These were the drain hose from the tub to pump and the mounting bushings that have started to degrade. The video on the site helped. Very happy the washer is working normally.

LG front loading washer leaking water. James R. • Pepperell , MA • July 15, 2022
The hot inlet valve was dripping water, replaced it. Water and soap were coming out of the vent pipe. The new Float assembly had a shorter shaft than the old Float Assembly I was replacing. I did install the new Float Assembly and cleaned the vent hose where the float seats and I haven't seen any more water on the floor. Both repairs were made easy by watching your repair videos.

Water leaking from my front load washing machine Donald H. • Tustin , CA • July 03, 2015
Removed the top cover while the machine was operating, located the source of the leak. The top filler tube had worn a hole in a flex point. Found the right part on this site, replaced it with little effort. While in there I saw a similar hose and decided to replace it as its time was probably up too. So far so good, washing clothes and no leaks!! Great prices and best of all the right parts were delivered in a timely manner. Thanks for making this so easy. Only specialty tool used was hose...

Little black specks in the dispenser tray calicum build up and rusted clamps on rear of dispenser Paul B. • San Diego , CA • January 30, 2017
I figured after 10.5 years that it might be time to replace the dispenser hoses because I was noticing black stuff in the dispenser trays. I replaced two or the four hoses and clamps on the far left side and for good measure the hot water inlet valve. The inlet valve was okay but the screen had all kinds of crap in there that I couldn't clean out so now I have an extra solenoid just in case one of the others fails. While I was at it I removed the dispenser and cleaned the calcium build up on...

I originally thought the washer had a bad bearing, but once I got it disassembled it the spider arms were broken. This required the replacement of the tub assembly. While replacing the tub I replaced all of the water bellows. The parts came quickly, the live chat and videos were very helpful. It was a very rewarding project and hundreds of dollars...
