This seal strip replaces a worn or damaged door gasket edge to restore a proper seal and help the appliance maintain temperature and operate quietly. It's a direct-fit service part used where a continuous seal is required. What it does:
- Provides a flexible barrier along the door/frame to reduce air leaks and heat/cold loss
- Helps prevent moisture buildup and improves energy efficiency when sealing is restored
- Reduces rattling and vibration caused by a compressed or torn seal edge
- Commonly replaced when the strip is torn, missing, or no longer adheres properly
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing to avoid electrical or burn hazards
- Clean and dry the mounting surface; remove old adhesive or residue for best adhesion
- Align the strip carefully and press firmly; allow any adhesive to cure per manufacturer instructions

A 10-24 lock nut used to secure threaded fasteners and prevent loosening from vibration. Simple, durable replacement that restores proper fastening where the original nut has worn or failed. What it does:
- Secures shafts, studs, or bolts with 10-24 threads and resists loosening under normal appliance vibration.
- Restores proper tension where a stripped or loose nut causes rattling or parts shifting.
- Helps maintain alignment of panels, brackets, or components that rely on a locked fastener.
- Small hardware solution for common fastening failures—no special part modifications required.
What's included: One 10-24 lock nut. Install notes:
- Disconnect appliance power and water before beginning repairs.
- Use the correct 10-24 threaded fastener and a properly sized wrench or socket to avoid rounding the nut.
- Tighten to a snug fit—do not overtighten or force onto damaged threads.
- Inspect mating threads and replace the bolt/stud if threads are stripped or damaged.

Burner on my jen air pro range rusted out Frank M. • Providence , RI • November 15, 2014
After many years of excellent service the burner I use most often on the top of my JenAir range rusted through. After trying to remove the burner, which was firmly rusted into place, I decided to replace the cooktop pan, both burners and igniters. It was an easy repair to swap out the new parts for the old, and the only tool necessary was a #2 phillips screw driver. The only difficulty was that although the cooktop pan appears symmetrical, the screw hole pattern on each side is different. I did...
