I ordered a slightly different p/n (DC97-14493B) and being I'm a fairly capable DIYer, I made a minor modification to make the part I needed (DC97-14493A). The opening for the Assembly Guide Water, Silver Care Kit was blocked. At first I thought it was the bearing, but when I got it apart I found the main shaft had corroded from possibly the soap powder and bleach combo build up on the part. After I cleaned it all up I found one of the three mounting braces was cracked and causing the unit to shake during the spin cycle. Once I replaced that part and replaced a few missing parts I lost all found on your store the unit went together just as it came apart and works excellent. Read more

Initially I tried a video on your site for a similar washing machine but the Samsung had different screw locations for the face and you had to remove the small front door at the base of the washing machine as well to remove the front cover. Inside there was also, what appeared to be, some type of noise cancelling material bolted above and below the boot seal on the face of the drum. Broken spider on Samsung WF330 after 8.5 years - faithful operation up to that point, so repair attempted. Spider, bolts, and support spring bushings (which can be unsnapped to make spring removal and thus tub removal super easy) ordered along with tub seal, bearings, and shaft seal from Amazon.com. I replaced flange shaft and bearings, ordered bearings through Yellow Van Handyman. Also put new door seal in while machine was apart. Found it easier to lay machine on its back to take drum out. Job took me all day but being retired I didn't mind.Although my wife thought I was crazy to put out that much money on a 5 year old machine, I believe I saved about $500.00 instead of buying a new washer. First I checked the breaker and outlet and both were good...then I unplugged the machine, took the top off, and removed the control panel.
