Lower convection fan not working William B. • Stuart , FL • November 22, 2021
Diagnosed the problem by seeing the lower fan was not turning. Didn't have any squeaks or sounds as a warning sign... It just stopped working. Went to AppliancePartsPros.com typed in my make & model number (Samsung NE58F9710WS). The web site pulled up the parts schematic, I navigated to the part on the schematic (Assembly #8 - Assy Motor Convection-Re DG96-00110B / AP5580897) and ordered it "Express Shipping" because I need the oven for Thanksgiving. When the part arrived, it looked identical...

Samsung electric range door would not open after cleaning cycle Christopher H. • Breckenridge , CO • September 15, 2014
With the help of several You Tube videos I was able to diagnose the problem. Diagnosis was confirmed with the help of a multi-meter. The thermo fuse was dead. I ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pros on Wednesday and it arrived via UPS on Friday afternoon. The fuse was very easy to remove and replace and my range was up and running in less than 15 minutes. Local repair service wanted $100 to do the diagnosis plus parts plus a return trip for installation. I got the part from Appliance Parts...

Oven not heating correctly taking too long to heat Ken S. • Dothan , AL • February 09, 2016
Changed out the Fan. Oven turns all heaters on to quickly get to temperature - the sensor probe is next to the broil heater - it quickly senses the broil element heat and claims a false oven temperature and "reaches" set temperature at the sensor probe. Changing the fan causes the air to circulate during this time - so the entire oven heats up. The Fan is supposed run in Bake mode during heat up. The Fan blade nut is a left hand thread - turn CCW to tighten and Clockwise to loosen - RIGHTY...

Needed to replace the top convection motor on my samsung electric range M David T. • West Grove , PA • May 01, 2020
Go inside the oven and remove the fan cover. Take the nut off of the fan (it may be a reverse nut), then remove the fan and the spacer. Open the back of the range, unplug the old fan motor and remove it (3 screws). Install the new fan motor assembly. The electric plug may not match up with the new motor, I cut the plug in half and put the 2 small plugs on the terminals. Back inside the oven, replace the spacer, fan and cover.
