Poped off plastics caseing inside the frigerator. Unscrewed 4 screws holding black fan inplace. Followed yellow wire to locate white sensor. Need to be careful not to break styrofoam, don't force it, it should seporate from plastic easy as long as the 4 screws are out. Swap it for the new one and button it back up. The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. All other controls worked and there was no error code displayed. The repair was to replace the whole control board which cost around $100. Heavy sigh..

Chatted with customer service and clarified that spring and fan would easily pull off motor shaft. Adhesive probably was extra measure used during original build of the fridge.
Noise was due to fan rubbing on housing. New fan position set to avoid any rubbing.

Initially called repair man and he checked it out , took about half of the freezer insides out to decide the fan was bad. Then he informed me that he did not have part and was going to be on vacation for a week. So I finished tearing apart the freezer to get to part removing the ice maker and rear panel, removed fan and ordered new parts, parts arrived as said and I put back together.
