Samsung Washer WF50A8500AV Parts

Being a DIY family, my wife and I felt this "project" might be a bit of a stretch for us but. . . At first I thought it was the bearing, but when I got it apart I found the main shaft had corroded from possibly the soap powder and bleach combo build up on the part. After I cleaned it all up I found one of the three mounting braces was cracked and causing the unit to shake during the spin cycle. Once I replaced that part and replaced a few missing parts I lost all found on your store the unit went together just as it came apart and works excellent. Read more

Ordered parts based on watching repair videos. Parts came in a timely fashion and where exactly what was needed. Repair videos helped make the repair fast and easy and the washer is working well saving me hundreds of dollars. Appliance Parts Pro had a great video showing what the most likely problem was and how to fix it. Using the video, I disassembled the washer and removed the suspect part (Spider Arm), which I found to be cracked. I order the needed parts on a Thursday afternoon and had the parts in hand on Saturday afternoon. Reassembly was straightforward and the washer now works like new. Like so many before us, we too had the infamous corroded and cracked drum spider. Talk about a major design flaw; it's amazing how manufacturers are able to get away without more accountability on this problem, instead they just pick off consumers one at a time, with many just junking their machines and replacing them long before what was traditionally thought of as a reasonable service life. First I checked the breaker and outlet and both were good...then I unplugged the machine, took the top off, and removed the control panel. I check the wiring to see if there were any loose plug ins, etc...This is where I figured the panel was bad (or possibly the power cord) so I ordered both. The parts arrived the next day.
