After reading many repair forum posts on similar issues with Samsung washers, I put the machine into troubleshooting mode to look for error codes. No error codes. I did a re-set, and the problem remained. No sign of a broken drum spider or bad bearings. So I replaced all four shock absorbers. I opened the washer and replaced the pump. To open the washer: 1. Remove the 2 screws that are different from the others in the top back corners of the machine. That will let you remove the top. 2. Remove the soap tray and its holder. The tray comes out if you depress the tab in the back center. Its holder comes out if you remove the two screws in the front. I took apart the washer to find both of the weight balancers had broken in 2 and were banging around. They had also caused the boot seal to rip. I removed the broken weight balancers and replaced them along with a new boot seal. There was one small spot with the seal wasn't fully attached to the outer drum so I had to take it back apart to fix that minor error on my part. Otherwise, it was a fairly easy fix. Read more

Removed top panel to reach the hose and sensor. Propped the washer back, reached up to remove bottom hose assembly. Replaced with new hose and new sensor. Put top panel back on. Parts place told me the part was backordered for months and repair would cost at least $80. Got it in three days and fixed it myself. Read more

Washer said error no drain. Cleaned the filter and still no drain. So the next step was to check the hose for any debris and when I went to pull the hose off it broke, at the same time I found the check valve flap broke in the drain pump and it was blocking the hose. So I replaced the check valve on the drain pump and replaced the hose. Read more

We are moving soon. In checking, I found that a front loading washing machine tub must be stabilized using shipping bolts. I found the correct items on line at AppliancePartsPros.com. "Chris" of your staff was very helpful. He informed me that my washer required only 3 shipping bolt assemblies, instead of the four I expected to buy.
