At first I thought it was the bearing, but when I got it apart I found the main shaft had corroded from possibly the soap powder and bleach combo build up on the part. After I cleaned it all up I found one of the three mounting braces was cracked and causing the unit to shake during the spin cycle. Once I replaced that part and replaced a few missing parts I lost all found on your store the unit went together just as it came apart and works excellent. Read more

Using the video, I disassembled the washer and removed the suspect part (Spider Arm), which I found to be cracked. I order the needed parts on a Thursday afternoon and had the parts in hand on Saturday afternoon. Reassembly was straightforward and the washer now works like new. When we first removed the drain filter from the washer, we noticed the O-ring had a slight defect which made removal hard and reinstallation almost a nightmare. Finally we ordered another filter when we ordered a water valve/thermistor for the mother-in-law's washer. Filter installed a lot easier than the original one. Should have ordered one way sooner! First I checked the breaker and outlet and both were good...then I unplugged the machine, took the top off, and removed the control panel. I went to appliance parts pro to determine what parts I needed. I found a repair video for the seal which I watched to figure out how to replace the locking mechanism or door switch assembly. After watching the video I removed only the front portion of the grey seal and pulled out the locking mechanism/door switch assembly hidden behind the seal.
