Steve March 12, 2013 for Model Number Bosch WFL 2060 On Quick Wash the hot water will not turn off. The washer drum continues to fill with water. If I turn off the hot water value at the wall then turn it back on the value in the machine has then turned off the water and it does not continue to fill. This seems to only happen on Quick Wash and not on Power Wash. Suggestions?
1 Answer Hello Steve. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit. Read More...
Chukster October 31, 2012 for Model Number Bosch AXXIS WTL 2060 Water poured out of the soap dispenser today and this is the first time this has happend and of course we are skeptical about using it again. Thanks for any ideas.
1 Answer Hi. Remove the soap dispenser and fabric softener cap out of the dispenser assy. See if the siphon holes are clogged. If so keep these clean regularly to keep the water flowing. Make sure the drawer is closed fully before operation. Inspect the drawer cap to see if it is clipped tight. If all of this is OK then replace a leaking dispenser part # 00363186. Thank You. Robert October 07, 2012 for Model Number wfl2060uc There is no water coming into the washer during the rinse cycle only, I can hear a hissing noise but did not see any water, other cycle (wash) is working fine with water coming into the washer, is this a an issue with the control unit?
1 Answer Hello Robert, This is most likely a water valve issue. The unit fills with a mixture of temperatures of water during the wash cycle but fills with cold only on the rinse. For this reason, it is a reasonable assumption that the cold water valve screen is stopped up or the cold water inlet valve 10031360 has failed. Read More...
Rory M. March 10, 2012 for Model Number wfl2060uc Washer repeats the cycle and runs forever. On hot wash only.
1 Answer Hi Rory. It sounds like you may need a water valve part # 10031360 as well as the main control board part # 00481304. If the cold water valvew has become plugged then the hot will obviously only work. The main control board is considered the brains and if it keeps on reunning then it is time to change it as well. Trickett September 12, 2011 for Model Number wfl2060uc/01 I just bought this part from you. I am having trouble installing this part in my washer. Can you help me install this part? It looks different from the original part. Boshe says this is the right part. Why is it different from the old part and how do I make it work in my washer?
1 Answer Hi Trickett. It only has 1 elect. plug hook up. And in order for the control panel buttons to work, it should line up exactly like your old one. They may have modified it or assigned it a revision #. These changes are always considered an update and occur frequently in the manufacturing process to advance the internal circuitry. Thank you. Gloria T. August 17, 2011 for Model Number WFL2060-UC Serial No. 8403052152 My washer drains and fills, but does not wash or spin. I can hear an electronic clicking sound like it's trying to access instruction. Is it the Control Board?
1 Answer Hello Gloria. You will need to test and see if there is power coming to the motor assembly. If there is power there, and the motor does not run, you will need to replace the motor 00142197. If there is no power there, you may need to replace the control module 00481304. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Donald April 27, 2011 for Model Number WFL2060 My front load Bosch was in the soak mode, when I heard a click, all the lights on the module went off and I smelled a slight whif of smoke. Is it the control module I need? Would it have affected any other part?
1 Answer Hello Donald. Does the control panel light up and allow you to enter cycles without it going into one? Or is it completely dead? Read More...
