Dave April 06, 2020 for Model Number SHX45L05UC Hi, I have a model that I can't find in your database, will the dispenser #00490467 work for me?
Ksmith October 29, 2019 for Model Number SHV6803UC/UC12 Our sliding mechanism either stays closed or slides right off. The spring is still there but just doesn't seem to work. I'm okay replacing the entire soap unit but feel that may not be necessary. Is this enough information to determine if I need to replace the whole unit? Thanks.
1 Answer KSMITH, with the dispenser door operating as such, the detergent lid 00166621 will need to be inspected for broken brackets. The actuator lever 00166632 and actuator 00166635 will also need to be inspected for any broken connections as well. Once these are verified as functional, the unit will need to be placed into a wash cycle with access to the dispenser and the actuator tested for voltage during the cycle. The actuator should receive voltage after the initial rinse wash to open the dispenser door and if it does not, the main control 00184605 has failed. If it does, then the actuator has failed. Scott G October 03, 2018 for Model Number SHU9926 UC/12 (FD 8003-) What is the trick to getting the metal locking tabs back in place? I squeezed and pushed the you-know-what out the new dispenser trying to get them to click, but no luck. Had to use two screwdrivers, one to pry and one to push the tabs back in place. Buggered up the plastic tabs some...just hope they hold!
1 Answer Scott, Normally you can bend these tabs out a hair, then when they lock in place you push inward on the dispenser and press the tabs back in at the same time. Read More...
Rex B June 10, 2018 for Model Number SHU9915UC/11 (FD8205140495) I purchased a replacement dispenser here locally. The part number on the new box is 00263088. when I went to replace the faulty dispenser in my machine, I discovered the new part has an open end (possibly for venting?) and also the new part has a place for two wire sets. The old unit that I removed has a closed/sealed end where a vent would go and it only has one place to plug in a wire set. I believe the 00263088 in not the correct part. But your web site shows I need the 00263088 as well. IM confused! Which part do I need? it looks like I might need part number 490467 is this correct? Also does Part number 490467 come with the rubber gasket?
1 Answer Rex, It sounds as though the part may have been mispackaged as the part needed only shows one connection point and is part number 00263088. Read More...

Robert D December 02, 2017 for Model Number Ap4355372 soap dispenser Can not get the plugs to attach to the new dispenser, looks like the new dispenser has plugs in them that looks like part of the plugs. Do I remove them or what.
1 Answer Robert, The plugs that are on the unit should be spade connectors and should be able to just plug the connectors in. If the original is in a casing then remove the terminal connector to get them on. Read More...
Terri August 28, 2017 for Model Number BOSCH SHX56C05UC/23 DISHWASHER Hi! Our Bosch dishwasher was taking a long time to finish cycle and dishes not getting clean/streaky. Same time rinse aid refill light stopped working and dispenser seems empty very fast after filling. Should I replace dispenser? And is this the correct replacement part for my model dishwasher? Thanks, Terri
1 Answer Terri, The detergent dispenser for the model number you supplied is 00490467 / 00490467. You may want to check and make sure the water temperature is hot enough, it should be 120 dgrs.F. at the first fill of the cycle or it won't "break down" the detergent properly. and check the water level in the bottom of the tub should be at least 1/2-3/4 inch deep. The rinse dispenser, depending on the setting should dispense 1/4 tepn to 1 tspn of agent per cycle. The dispenser may have a clogged plunger or the linkage is distorted and holding the rinse agent dispenser open. Read More...
