For Bosch Detergent Dispenser Assembly (Part Number: OEM8407029)

Gayla G for Model Number SHU5315UL/U06

Hello I got this dishwasher from a person who it was given to. We think it is 8 years old. The basket inside and the soap dispenser along with the curvy water sprayer and the extra glass racks are all a champagne color!!! My question is…are these the correct color or over time have they turned an odd color of beige. It is a beautiful machine but when you see these oddly colored pieces it is strange and ugly! You expect them to be grey in keeping with the main racks. I hate to buy all new if this was their original color. Can you tell me if this is their meant to be color from the factory?Thx!

Hello Gayla. Sorry, the manufacturer does not say the color of these from the factory, but plastic can change color over time. You should be able to tell if is it stained on the parts.

Nadine, There is lever at the bottom of the dispenser assembly that you push which should lift the lid that the rinse aid bulb is on. When you lift this up there will be an opening to put the rinse aid in.
