Mike D. for Model Number Bosch SHU5315UC/U11

Hello, I just installed this assembly and ran a load with the front door cover off so I could assure that there were no water leaks. All around the assembly where the rubber casket is fine. No leaks. However I noticed that on the right side of the assembly, looking at it from the outside of the dishwasher, there appears to be a cover missing (2”x5/8” hole) or incomplete assembly. On the original the plastic on this side is fully molded with no hole. It is fully enclosed and no water can come through. With the new assemble water will make its way through to the interior of the door via slots on the inside facing side of the assembly. I also notice that when the soap dispenser opened; the path for the water to enter the interior of the dishwasher door was lessened. This was due to the soap door covering the slots that give the water a path to the interior of the dishwasher door. If you go to your website (http://www.appliancepartspros.com/part_details.aspx?part_id=2802340) and click on the middle view it is the left side I’m referring to. If you click on the far right view you can see the slots that I’m referring to that allow the water to have a path to the interior of the dishwasher door because the compartment that the slots access is not fully enclosed due this 2”x5/8 hole. Thanks in advance for your help

Jim, It's not hard at all,To remove outer door: ??Remove six T-20 Torx inner door screws below fascia panel --three per side (1). ??Carefully pull bottom of outer door out from dishwasher until top door tabs clear, then pull door down until it releases from dishwasher (2). Take care to not scratch outer door.??Remove two plastic door guards (3). They occasionally fall out when the outer door is removed. To remove/install dispensers: ??Remove outer door, remove fascia panel & disconnect wire harness from fascia panel. ??Disconnect wire harness from above dispenser, then remove wires to wax motor & reed switch. ??Disconnect condensation tube (for older models with condensationtubes in doors). ??Bend retainer tabs, the push dispenser inward toward tank. Protect hand with towel as edges are sharp. ??Replace from inside of tank --position O-ring seal and bend tabs to secure. When replacing dispensers, lubricate O-rings with rinse-aid & support inner doors to avoid damage if O-rings stick. I'm sure you can do it, Good Luck.

Scott for Model Number shu4302uc/u06

When the soap dispenser door is closed, is water supposed to get thru where the door was when it was open? That little vented area has water coming thru it while the soap dispenser door is closed. It then seems to leak where the soap dispensing unit is attached to what they call a repair kit. Which is a long bent plastic tube that pushes into the dispenser. It leaks at the point where they connect. I thought it may just be that rectangular o-ring, but I was told that the oring was not sold seperately. The repair kit is like $67.

Hello Scott. You will need to replace the dispenser assembly. They do not sell just the o-rings. Hope this helps.
