Nancy March 14, 2018 for Model Number SHX33M05UC/46 Th dishwasher is not draining. I've checked the basket area and below but there is no blockage. I suspect it's the drain hose. our water line to the dishwasher is a copper line. Do I still disconnect it from under the sink or under the front of the washer?
1 Answer Nancy, You would turn the water supply off under the kitchen sink, and disconnect the copper water supply line from the water inlet valve in the bottom area in the front of the dishwasher. Then disconnect the drain hose from the plumbing fixtures under the sink, and slide the dishwasher out of the cabinet and carefully lay the dishwasher on it's back, to access and replace the drain hose. Richard August 27, 2016 for Model Number Bosh SHX33RL5UC/64 I have a Bosch SHX33RL5UC/64 dishwasher. Is there a part so that I can lenghten the drain line about 24"? An inspector wants me to put a loop in the hose so it creates an air gap. Is this even possible?
1 Answer Hello Richard, You will need to order drain hose 11030046 to extend the drain length. Be aware the drain hose will need to go up to countertop level, (if siphon break is to be installed, this is where it should be), and no loops from the high point to where it connects to the sink/disposer drain, (straight to the sink/disposer drain from the high point in the hose).
