For Bosch Drain Pump Motor Assembly (Part Number: OEM11292615)

Andrew for Model Number 436440

My name is Andrew and I just recently bought a model 436440 Nexxt drain pump for a Bosch Nexxt 300 Series : WFMC2201UC. The code E:13 kept popping up when I was washing and I found out the problem was that the drain pump was not draining the water at all. I took out the broken drain pump and replaced it with the new pump and I still get the same result. E:13 keeps popping out. I don't know if its the pump or something else but can you help me with this? I tried everything even looking at the hoses to check for if its clogged. So please email me as soon as possible.

Hello Andrew. Make sure there is no clogs. Also, make sure the unit is draining. If not, check the wiring and if good replace the control board. If it does drain, check the pressure hose and pressure switch on the unit.

Mike G for Model Number Bosch WFMC3301UC/09 - Pump 00436440 - Code E04

We have opened the cover to the drain pump many times and there has been no debris. On rare occasions there might be a tiny bit of lint about the size of an ant. I have also disconnected all the drain lines and made sure there was no debris or blockage by blowing in them. We still keep getting the E04 code and no draining about every 15-20 loads. I was looking at the drain pump impeller. Is there supposed to be any side play/movement? Mine seems loose. I am ordering a new drain pump, but was wondering if I am missing anything or am I correct in replacing the pump? Thank you!

Hello Mike. It sounds like the pump may be failing and need to be replaced on the unit. It sounds like your on the right track.

Alex for Model Number bosch washing machine WFMC5301UC/15 PART 00436440

Bosch Washing machine drain pump assembly (00436440) -- I had trouble removing the entire drain pump piece (drain pump motor plus housing for the fluff filter) from my washing machine. I thought I could just replace the small pump so I disassembled the pump from the fluff filter on the replacement part I ordered. Big mistake! While I was disassembling the new piece my wife figured out how to remove the entire pump assembly in the washing machine. Now I need the entire replacement part the way it came and I am having trouble putting it back together. Specifically, I had trouble aligning the plastic tabs with the overhanging tabs and twisting the 2 pieces together. I removed the impeller and now I can't remember how the black ring (seal) goes on the with the impeller -- does it go just inside the impeller before it fits into the housing or should I put the seal on the outside, then place the impeller in the housing, and finally put the seal around the impeller? I can twist the 2 pieces together when the seal is on the outside but I can't twist the 2 pieces together when the seal is on the inside of the impeller. Could you point me to a diagram or picture showing how the impeller fits into the housing? thanks.

Alex, Unfortunately we do not have any type of diagram that will show what you are inquiring about. The seal would not go around the impeller but will go around the housing and then lock into place.

Illinois Joe, With the manufacturer making the change of the pump with the support housing you would want to replace all of it. This is a manufacturer design and should comply with the design.

Mike, based on the model number given the replacement drain pump is part number 00436440. Here is basic installation instructions from the manufacturer: To remove drain pumps:•Remove front panel• Loosen and remove hoses• Disconnect wire harness• Carefully slide pump toward rear of washer, then lift it out of washer (taking care to not damage the four rubber feet). HINT: Drain pumps are mounted on four rubber feet to dampen vibration & noise. To remove drain pumps, carefully slide them toward rear of washers. To install them, carefully insert all four feet into notches in washer base, then slide them forward.
