Illinoisjoe for Model Number WFMC3200UC/01-FD8503-900810 I just ordered a replacement part for my drain pump, and received one with a newer housing and a manual drain hose. I would like to leave the existing housing in the washing machine and just replace the small pump. Will this pump on the new housing be comparable with the old housing, and is there a reason why I shouldn't keep the old housing in place?
