Lee June 15, 2022 for Model Number WFR2460 UC/04 (FD 8306) A year ago the machine quit, and the Bosch serviceman took the back off, said it needed a new motor but none were available, and recommended that we replace the washer. I recently discovered that replacement motors were now available and removed the motor, planning on replacing it. But I cannot find anything wrong with it. Brushes are OK, bearings turn smoothly, winding resistance measurements look correct. Is there a way I can bench test it. I'm afraid I may end up replacing the wrong part.
1 Answer Lee, unfortunately, there would not be a way to bench test the motor 00142197 as it is a 3-phase motor. However, the resistances should have measured 0.5-1.9 Ohms from pin 1 to pin 3, 0.7-2.1 Ohms from pin 2 to pin 3, 1.5-10 Ohms from pin 4 to pin 5, and 14-35 Ohms from pin 6 to pin 7. If the resistances measure good, the next step would be inspecting the wires for any pinched or broken sections. If the wires are good, the main control 00494093 would be the likely cause of failure. Greg July 12, 2017 for Model Number Boch Series 100 I have a Boch series 100 washing machine (front load). The drum only turns one way when running. It usually turns both ways. Is this the motor.

Martin November 21, 2016 for Model Number wfl2060uc Hello Some posts tied to this motor say the brushes cannot be replaced on the motor for WFL2060Uc (part 00142197), and some suggest you can. So can I change the brushes on this motor or do I really have to change the entire motor? Thanks!
1 Answer Martin, Unfortunately the manufacturer does not offer the brushes on the motor as a separate part and the motor would need to be replaced. Read More...

Edward August 18, 2014 for Model Number Bosch WFL 2060 UC I have a Bosch Axxis washer purchased 7 years ago. Recently the drum has stopped spinning. It seems to work fine in wash mode and draining, just does not spin. I do remember it making some odd noises prior to it stopping to spin, not the usual high whine. A local service repair person who I have used in the past is saying that it may be the motor via a phone consultation. Is this possible?
1 Answer Hello Edward, This can be the motor 00142197 since the model has a three phase motor. The motor can be ohmed out with a resistance meter. All three windings should be extremely close in their readings. They should also all three read open to ground. If this tests good, the control 00481304 is in question. Read More...
Ken November 04, 2013 for Model Number BOSH #WFMC1001UC/07 Motor bumps a little but does not spin in the spin cycle or wash in the wash cycle. Is it a bad motor?
1 Answer Hello Ken. If there is power to the motor and it does not run, you will need to order and replace the motor on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Mitch October 24, 2013 for Model Number Bosh Nexxt Premium 507000014 motor I took the out the motor to replace the carbon brushes and in this motor assembly it is apparent that the carbon brushes are not accessible. Apparently Bosh wants you to buy a new motor or a new washing machine. Is this assumption correct? I purchased carbon brushes but there is no obvious place where they snap in and snap out. Mitch
1 Answer Hello Mitch. Yes, you can not replace the brushes, you have to replace the motor assembly. Read More...
