Yves Maccow November 16, 2017 Good morning I have a bosch 7300 gas range e-nr. hsk54132sc/06 fd p404 005756. to light the oven I have to push the knob in hold for about 15 to 20 seconds and let it go and I should stay on, but when I let it go I goes off. what can be the problem.
1 Answer Yves, With the burner coming on but going back out then this issue would most likely be caused by a faulty valve. Read More...
1 Answer Daniel, If the burner has a gas leak then this would be a valve issue in which the valve is able to be replaced. Read More...
Norman April 21, 2017 for Model Number Thermador SGC304RS All 4 igniters stopped working at the same time; there is no clicking sound on any of them. There is gas; I can light the burners with a match. There is electricity; a lamp plugged into the cooktop outlet works. How do I fix the cooktop? Thanks!
1 Answer Norman, You'll need to raise the cooktop and check the wiring from the valve switches to the spark module, then from the spark module to the igniters. If there are no damaged wires, then you'd need to suspect the spark module 00753257 / 00753257 has failed. Here's some help " Turn off the gas supply and the electrical power going to the cooktop. 2. Remove the grates and burner caps from the cooktop. 3. Remove the knobs from the controls. 4. Using a 25 I 32" (20 mm) socket, unscrew and remove the venturi from each of the burner bases, then lift the burner bases and rubber o rings from the maintop. Carefully lift the front of the maintop several inches and prop it up with a board or a hammer handle." Read More...
Fred April 19, 2017 for Model Number Bosch stove top NGM 8054UC My sister has this model stove top. The center burner igniter has fallen down inside. Can the burner be removed to repair ? Does this sound like something I could do? Fred R.
1 Answer Fred, Yes, it should be something you can do. You will need a 20mm socket to remove the burner venturi tubes and after you remove all the burner tubes, you'll need to remove or raise the cooktop assembly to access the igniter and igniter wire(s), so make sure to remove power to the cook top and turn off the gas supply before you start. Harry April 10, 2017 for Model Number Thermador Cooktop SGC304RS One of my gas burners won't ignite. I can light it with a match, though, so I know that the gas is flowing. My guess is that the ignition plug assembly isn't working. I can pull it straight up; it is connected by some kind of wire. But everyone says that you cannot replace that part from above the cooktop. Why not? Thanks!
1 Answer Harry, In most cases the igniter is not the issue with the unit not igniting. You will want to check to make sure that the burner is clean as this can stop the igniter from sparking. Also check the ignition switches on the burner valve to make sure that they have continuity in the light position. If not then this would be the cause. If the switches check ok then the spark module or wiring between the igniter and spark module will be the issue. As for changing the igniter there is normally a clip under it that will keep it from coming out and this is why you have to disassemble the unit to get it out. Read More...
Joanne January 15, 2017 The porcelain igniter on the large burner is cracked. Can I just replace that piece without removing the cooktop completely. Do I need to replace the entire fixture?

Mario January 10, 2017 for Model Number FD 97 C 1/E When I turn on the gas to the large burner head it does not stay ignited and I have to put a weight on the knob to keep it on and the gas flowing. What part do I need and how do I repair it? Thank you

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...
George January 06, 2017 for Model Number Ngp736uc/01 I have a defective electrode for large left side burner. Is there a way to replace the new one without disconnecting the gas line? I can only see that I need to completely remove the cooktop, disconnect the gas line, then remove several screws on the lower cover to get to the defective electrode. This is very time consuming for a simple repair. The other 3 electrodes seem to be fine.
1 Answer Hello George, I'm sorry but there is no shortcut to accessing the parts for service. Just take your time and be careful not to get hurt or cause damage to anything during the repair and you will do just fine. Read More...
Stephen T November 08, 2016 for Model Number Thermador RDDS30 S/N 97010091 The pilot is intermittent and each time I call the service man it seems to work fine. The serviceman now said the solenoids in the control unit are wearing out and produce this symptom but parts are no longer available for this unit. Can you tell if this is true or is he just trying to get me to purchase a new unit. Thanks. Steve
1 Answer Stephen, The part number that would be needed sounds like it is the simmer control which is part number 00422882. Read More...
Dwa June 09, 2016 for Model Number thermador PCS486GLUS Hi, We have the Thermador PCS486GLUS and we previously ordered the spark electrode 00415124 from you. It shows it is no longer available. When we go to your list of products for our model, it shows that this ignitor 00189234 is compatible with our cooktop. On your site it says there is not a replacement for 00415124 [whicih is longer]. Will the 00189234 fit our pro cooktop as a replacement for the 00415124? Thank you.
