Elizabeth February 02, 2016 I have Dacor double convection ovens. One of the ovens. the top one, therefore the most used, will not heat very fast unless we put it on the roast setting. Thus we use Roast to pre-heat and then switch to the other modes once it is pre-heated, with no ill effects. The other modes seem to function, it is just that it takes hours for the oven to heat on other settings. This mystifies me. LOVE these ovens, but the repair man said it would be over $500 to repair. What is wrong with the oven and why so costly?
1 Answer Elizabeth, The most likely cause for the unit to not heat properly will be a faulty relay control board 62692. Read More...
Riyaz L January 18, 2016 for Model Number CPS130 My Dacor CPS130 wall oven turns on, I set the bake temp and short after (5-10 sec) it will switch off. Wondering what the issue could be.
1 Answer Riyaz, The most likely cause for the unit to shut off after 5 to 10 seconds would be a faulty relay board which is part number DE81-09179A. Read More...
Steve August 04, 2015 for Model Number EO230SCH I have a Dacor EO230SCH double wall oven and now have a L43 relay board warning. Can I fix this myself by replacing the board? if so what is the partnumber and where is the relay board? thanks
1 Answer Steve, The part number for the relay board on your unit would be DE81-09742A. The unit would need to be pulled from installation and remove the top cover. The relay board would be located in this area. Read More...
Thomas July 18, 2015 for Model Number Dacor CPS130 When choosing bake....Both the broil and bake elements turn on until oven gets to desired pre-set. Lets say is 350 degrees. when oven reaches temp, the bake element turn off and boiler stays on. Even if we select Bake. Any thoughts? could it be heat relay or possible ERC issue? is there a way to verify? Many thanks
1 Answer Thomas, This issue would be caused by a faulty relay control board. The relay appears to be sticking during the cycle. You will want to replace control board part number 62692. Read More...
Clint May 26, 2015 for Model Number Dacor electric range, 30 inch, model MRES I spilled water from stove top into front of oven where the computer or circuit board resides. It is now blank, no power, clock etc. I am guessing I need to order the oven control board #92028. Does this sound correct?
1 Answer Hello Clint. If you tried drying it out and it continued not to work, you will need to replace the control board on the unit. Read More...
Maria February 22, 2015 for Model Number EGR30S06CH Please tell me what I can possibly do: Dacor gas Range-Display doesn't work; oven won't turn on. Oven light is the only thing that works. Model: EGR30S06CH
1 Answer Maria, You will want to check the thermal cutoff to make sure that it has continuity. If it has continuity then it is good and the oven relay control board would be the issue. Read More...
Pawel December 29, 2014 for Model Number MOV230S dacor duble oven I had massage u-43 relay board I did replace it now is l60 cooling fan massage. How can I fix this.
1 Answer Pawel, You will want to test at the fan motor to ensure that you are getting 120 vac to it. If you are then the issue would be with the fan motor being defective. If there is not power to it work your way back to the control board and test to see if the control board is sending power to the fan. If there is power to the fan from the board then there would be a thermostat that is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More...
Bob S October 12, 2014 for Model Number Dacor MCD230B wall oven The double oven beeps randomly (sometimes not for days and sometimes every few minutes and in no pattern or repetition when it does beep). When it is having one of those episodes, and we set it to bake, it will reach temperature and then shut off, with the temperature readout just showing "OFF". The keys then do not function until a power reset. Except for this control function, all the elements seem to work properly, when they do. Guessing it is the control unit or membrane. How to tell, or what do you think?
1 Answer Bob, Normally when a there is a key that may be stuck on the control it will cause the beeping noise and can be random. Based on this it sounds like the keypad would need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
Marilyn S October 02, 2014 for Model Number ERD36SHE/LP Front display blank. No buttons work. Can't turn oven on. Top still has electricity and burners all work. An oven control board problem? If so, which part number? Can I change out myself? Thanks.
1 Answer Maryilyn, Yes the oven control board 62707 would most likely be the cause for the issue that you are having. Read More...
Karen C June 20, 2014 for Model Number Dacor ERSD30 The oven light does not work. We have tried replacing bulb, but still not working. Does this use a special bulb other than the standard oven bulb? Do we need to replace the whole light assembly? How would we know if it's the oven control board?
1 Answer Karen, The oven light for this unit comes as an assembly. The part number for the light replacement assembly is DE81-05164A. You will want to test to see if there is power going to the light assembly and if there is then it would need to be replaced. If not then the control board would most likely be the cause for failure.
