Eric January 17, 2020 for Model Number FEFL79JCB control board 316462868 I replaced the control board part number 316462868 and the clock flashes but none of the other buttons work. It does have a lock control on it. I know I have it wired up correctly so could it be the lock control or is it a bad board? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Eric, An ENTRY acceptance beep will sound each time a control pad is touched (the Oven Lockout pad is delayed by 3 seconds). The pad controls the Oven Lockout feature. The Oven Lockout feature automatically locks the oven door, prevents the Warmer Drawer and most oven controls from being turned ON. It does not disable the clock, Kitchen Timer or the interior oven light. 1. Press and hold for 3 seconds. 2. After 3 seconds a beep will sound, LOC & "DOOR LOCKED" will flash in the display. Once the oven door is locked the "DOOR LOCKED" indicator will stop flashing. To reactivate normal oven operation: 1. Press and hold for 3 seconds. A beep will sound. LOC will clear. The "DOOR LOCKED" will continue to flash until the oven door has completely unlocked. 2. The oven is again fully operational. If the unit does not respond as described, the control could have an issue. Read More...
Jimmie March 30, 2015 for Model Number FEFL79JCB I replaced the EOC on my range and the clock display flashes, but when I touch the controls nothing happens. What could this be?
1 Answer Hello Jimmie, The EOC 316462868 you installed, if wired correctly, has to be defective. Read More...
Jimmie March 30, 2015 for Model Number fefl79jcb I replaced the clock control board. The clock time is flashing, but when I touch the controls nothing happens. What could be the problem?
1 Answer Jimmie, You will want to make sure that the unit does not have a control lockout feature. If it does then it could be that the unit is locked out and would need to be unlocked. Read More...
Jimmie March 27, 2015 for Model Number FEFL79JCB I replaced the clock control board and when I touch the controls on the face nothing happens. I did notice a loose connecting wire. Could this be the problem, and if so, can I replace the attachment head that connects to the board?
1 Answer Hello Jimmie, You can replace the connector by ordering the complete main harness 316506241. Otherwise, you might be able to use a small screwdriver to remove the metal clip inside the connector and bend the connector so it can make better contact. This is if the connection is in a Molex multiple wire connector. Should it be an individual spade connector, you can cut off the end of the wire next to the old connector, strip back the insulation about 1/4 inch and crimp on a new spade connector TJMA02875-1. Philip January 06, 2015 I purchased this part and installed it today when it came. I took a picture of the original circuit board prior to unhooking so I'd know exactly where the wires went. After hooking up the new one I noticed 2 issues for possible answers: 1) when setting the oven temperature and touching "start" the degrees shown go from what I typed to "100" and I wanted to know if that is normal (someone else here mentioned this replacement part showing actual temperature rising)? 2) Before putting the back cover on I watched the circuit board to make sure there were no problems and noticed sparks occasionally from the 2 white boxes on the bottom right corner, which happens sometimes when I hear a clicking sound; is this normal or a defective part?
1 Answer Hello Philip. Both of those are normal. The temp will rise on the display to the set temp and the flashes are the relays turning on and off. Read More...

Nathan August 21, 2013 for Model Number Fefl79jqa What is the part number for the clock timer control for this model.
Larry April 10, 2013 for Model Number FEL79JCB Hello I have replaced this part still nothing from the clock I was wondering how to test if defective. I checked power to the stove and we are good but no response from the clock / dead like the original. I was about to send back for refund but just wanted to check if I should be testing something else first. Please help happy to look into before just shipping back. Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Larry. You need to test and see if there is power coming to the clock on L1. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Gary D. November 17, 2012 for Model Number fefl79hsb Do you know if this is a revised board or an OEM made in mexico? The one I have has a label: Electrolux Home Products 316462868 REV K, SF5531-S2868 REV B ES-530L electronic range control system, electric speed bake, 0815 sg1 mexico.
