Philip I purchased this part and installed it today when it came. I took a picture of the original circuit board prior to unhooking so I'd know exactly where the wires went. After hooking up the new one I noticed 2 issues for possible answers: 1) when setting the oven temperature and touching "start" the degrees shown go from what I typed to "100" and I wanted to know if that is normal (someone else here mentioned this replacement part showing actual temperature rising)? 2) Before putting the back cover on I watched the circuit board to make sure there were no problems and noticed sparks occasionally from the 2 white boxes on the bottom right corner, which happens sometimes when I hear a clicking sound; is this normal or a defective part?
Answer Hello Philip. Both of those are normal. The temp will rise on the display to the set temp and the flashes are the relays turning on and off. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, January 7, 2015
