Joseph December 22, 2020 for Model Number 137005010 Im looking for the control knob for my new control board 137005010 or maybe both control knob and program knob pin cause i just changed a dead control board for my kenmore washer model 41748102700 with the new 137005010 control board and when i put the old program knob on the new board it points to the opposite direction of the cycles and theres just one way to put that knob, so theres got to be a new program knob for the 137005010 board. Any help appreciated.
1 Answer Joseph, for the model number you supplied the control panel parts needed are: 134347700/134347700 Program Pin, 134415200/134415200 Knob, program, with bushing, and the 137005010/137005010 Control Board, printed circuit, with housing. You may want to recheck and make sure the programming pin is installed properly and not forced into the control 180 dgrs. Thanks, Read More...
Katcos December 15, 2018 for Model Number 41744052400 Kenmore Super Capacity 3.5 I replaced the electric control board (Control-Electrical Part Number: AP4363774) and the machine fills for a few seconds, then stops, fills and stops. The drum will not spin. Is the problem due to correct positioning of the program knob on the control board? How do I get it in the correct position? Any ideas on why the machine won't work properly? Does it need to be calibrated?
1 Answer Katcos, whenever a drum will not turn at all and the door is locked, I suspect a motor or motor control. Disconnect the plug from the motor and measure the resistance of the windings ( pin 1 to pin 2, pin 1 to pin 3, pin 2 to pin 3). All readings should be between 3 and 6 ohms, if not replace the motor. if they are correct, replace the motor control. {AP3891780] Read More...
Brian November 28, 2016 for Model Number 41748102701 On the normal setting my washer fills for about 2 seconds then stops. After a minute or so it fills for about 2 seconds again the stops. If I use the drain/spin setting it drains for about 2 seconds then stops. After a minute or so it repeats the process. I installed a new door lock assembly and main control board with no change. The drain pump has been checked as well as the main drive motor. I'm at a loss.
1 Answer Brian, You will want to access the tech sheet located inside the cabinet of the unit and put the unit into a diagnostic mode. You will want to check to see if there are any stored error codes. If there is an error code then following the instructions for that code. Read More...
Arnold M April 26, 2016 for Model Number Kenmore 417.44052400, S/N XC52726966 Hi: wash or go through the full cycle normally, but will not spin. Put into diagnostic mode, and all modes work normally, including the spin cycle. Error code is E 43.
1 Answer Arnold, The E43 error code would be a main control board problem. The part number for the control board is 137005010. Read More...
Jason January 30, 2016 for Model Number 41748102700 Tried to run the unit through a test mode. It only turned on each water valve on for about 2-3 sec. Did not fill or tumble. and it did not drain the water that was in there. pump only ran for 2-3 sec. Door lock test did work and led does light when locked. Does not work on any cycle. Only locks the door and that's it.
1 Answer Jason, With the unit locking the door and not filling or anything else then this issue would most likely be caused by a faulty control board 137005010. Read More...
Travis August 07, 2014 for Model Number kenmore 417 4405 2400 #1. My washer, when started run water for 3 seconds (doesn't matter temp, it'll jus run 3 seconds) then stop. 3 to 4 min. later it will fill for 3 seconds again, then stop. It will do this several times over 20-30 min. I put it to drain and spin and it will start to drain for 3 seconds, then stop. And follow that cycle for 10-20 min. #2 I checked the pump, nothing. Later I tried the cycle again and it would no longer pump water into machine (on normal cycle) OR drain (on drain/spin cycle) it would just click. It would click every 3 to 4 minutes like it wanted to do something but wouldn't. #3 I replaced the control board (part #ap4363774) #4 Now it's back to behaving as it did in #1, working for 3 seconds but stopping. What's wrong??? -Travis
1 Answer Hello Travis. Check the water valve and see if it is bad and not letting in either hot or cold water. If so, it will cause this issue. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Roy December 23, 2013 for Model Number 417.44052400 My washer would not start. Hit the start button and light just flash and it beeps. Won't turn on. a few weeks ago with the door open it would just flash lights and beep till I unplug it. Turned off cycle signal and it stopped doing it. Now it wont even turn on. It just beeps once and flashes lights.
Briang December 10, 2013 for Model Number 417.48102700 The washer of course quit working. It filled, but would not spin. I ran the diagnostics, I could hear each valve open, the door latch lock/unlock etc. No water would flow when it was supposed to. During the high spin test, the motor came on then off, drum did not spin. I think the error code is 5. I think I need a new control board, can you confirm this? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Brian. Based on the test, it does lead to a bad motor 137043000 on the unit. Disconnect the plug from the drive motor and measure the resistance between pins 4 and 5 in the motor. If the meter reads other than between 105 and 130 ohms, replace the motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. William November 17, 2013 for Model Number 41744052400 I have a problem with my washer not spinning out the water. I had the control board motor part# 134409900 replaced and it still doesn't work. I was informed that my machine was one that needed a control board replaced too. My machine does not beep to let me know what the problem is or give an error code. Please help. :)
1 Answer Hello William. Make sure the pump is not clogged and the door lock assembly is good on the unit. Either will cause a no spin issue. Read More...
