Briang for Model Number 417.48102700 The washer of course quit working. It filled, but would not spin. I ran the diagnostics, I could hear each valve open, the door latch lock/unlock etc. No water would flow when it was supposed to. During the high spin test, the motor came on then off, drum did not spin. I think the error code is 5. I think I need a new control board, can you confirm this? Thanks
Answer Hello Brian. Based on the test, it does lead to a bad motor 137043000 on the unit. Disconnect the plug from the drive motor and measure the resistance between pins 4 and 5 in the motor. If the meter reads other than between 105 and 130 ohms, replace the motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
