Alex June 24, 2014 for Model Number Frigidaire GLTF2940ES3 The control panel turns on and off by itself. No matter how many times we press cancel, it continues to do this. And when we put a load in, it will complete the cycle, but it will turn on and off throughout the cycle - as if it's cancelling the cycle, but then restarting itself. Also, it doesn't seem to spin as well since I've had loads of wash that required an extra cycle of spinning/draining to eliminate all the water. Is this a control board or motor board issue? Thanks

Heath April 28, 2014 for Model Number ltf2940es3 Hi we recently had our washer start beeping and shutting down and then coming back on. We start a wash cycle and it fills and the drum turns and starts washing but then it will beep and shut down. Then it will start up on its own again and continue this process. When it shuts down all lights go out most of the time but there are sometimes they stay on. It will drain but won't spin fast just slow. Is this the control panel? Thank you
Rebecca April 27, 2014 I have a Frigidaire Washer Model # GLTF2940ES2. I ordered a new control board part #137006000. The new board does not have a 2 pin connector for the reed switch. Is it incorporated into the new board?? Is there a way to add it to the new board. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
1 Answer Rebecca, It appears that the manufacturer has eliminated the reed switch and would not need to be hooked up. The unit will operate. There is no way to install the pin connectors on the new board for the reed switch since it was eliminated.
