Shamika January 20, 2014 for Model Number GLTF2940FS2 Last night my washer went into its final spin and instead paused. I thought nothing of it, cancelled the current cycle and proceeded to my next. It wouldn't start. Instead, when start is pressed it automatically pauses. After doing a Google search I found that I could look and see if there was and error code. It is reading E41. Help please. 1 Answer Shamika, The E41 error code is an indication that the main control board thinks the door switch is open. The things to check. Is the loading door closed. If not then close the door and if yes then Disconnect the plug from the J2 on the main control board and check for continuity between the pins and the plug. IF it is open then check the door strike. Danny January 15, 2014 for Model Number GLTF2940EE0 I have a problem with the final spin cycle, after it drains and is ready to spin it just shuts off. I performed the error test check and got E47 which indicates it is the door assembly or defective control board. I checked the ohms on the door assembly and it reads around 1380. So which should I go with? the door assembly or control board? Or do I have another problem? Drain pump lines have been cleaned out also.

Lee January 05, 2014 for Model Number gltf2940FS2 Had a recent hard freeze and washer is in a makeshift cabinet outside. When intaking water, the water is spraying out of the valve where the hoses connect. Hoses are fine. My handyman said that I need to look for a solenoid valve for the washer; however, when I query nothing comes back. Should I be looking for an inlet valve instead? Thanks in advance for any info.
Christopher December 20, 2013 for Model Number ATF6700FS1 Our washer has stopped spinning. The tub had drained and I checked the trap at the pump for debris which we have found full of stuff two other times but not this time. I checked codes and found E41 door lock switch malfunction. I checked the J2 connector per the instructions and found 120 volts at the black wire. It appears to be the main control board per the manual but after looking on the net it makes me wonder. One thing that I thought was odd was the pump would run when we selected spin only although no water was present. I am prepared to buy the board if need be, your thoughts?
1 Answer Hello Christopher, This sounds like a door lock assembly 131763256 issue as long as all of the connections have been unplugged and re-attached since many problems with these unit are due to poor electrical connections. If the door lock assembly is the issue, you will also need to order part numbers 134606800 harness and 131763310 door strike. Eh December 13, 2013 for Model Number GLTF2940ES0 Hello! My machine won't cycle. Number's count down slowly but do not go through the paces. Every now and then, the water valve opens and for two seconds, water enters tub. No agitation or spin. Ran diagnostic and got the following error codes: E5E E41 LOC Most recently: E90 Trying to figure out what parts to replace! Thanks!
1 Answer EH, The codes you've listed are basically communication errors between the main control board and the peripheral components. The LOC code indicates the control has been locked, so the machine cannot be used, ot there have been too many false inputs and the control has locked itself(like a computer) and needs to be rebooted ( remove power to the washer for 10 to 15 minutes, then try again). The first check you make needs to be to the wiring harnesses, between the main control and the motor control boards, and the door latch assembly and the main control board. If there are no loose or damaged wiring connections or wires, you'll need to replace the main control board 137006000 as the most likely issue. Read More...

Based on the error code E36 the main control board was replaced. After replaced, and performed the diagnostic test error E5E appeared, followed the recommended instructions check the wiring all Ok. Prodeed to change the "Speed/motor" control board and the E5E will not go way. during the diagnostic test the water solenoid are Ok, but the wash cycle takes a little water and stops, get the E5E error, same with the spin cycle it dups a little water and stops get the E5E error.

Denny October 30, 2013 for Model Number frigidaire gltf2940e My frigidare front load washer does everything ok untill spin, it won't spin, ran the diagnostic test in the booklet. Everything worked even the spin test but got code E47. The door locks and unlocks and I got 1500 ohms on the coil inside the switch. Do you think I need a board?

Tamara October 29, 2013 My washing machine clicks when you press start and goes thru the normal cycle, doesn't fill, doesn't spin nothing. Same thing whether its hot cold or warm cycle selected, normal wash or even just when you set it to spin. I've was thinking it was the door switch or mother board, I've replaced the door switch. I'm assuming its the motherboard (checked all wires for continuity and they are good). Do you think my assessment is correct?
