Jennifer, Yes, Start by replacing the 154459903 / 154459903 Insert/key pad assembly. The part is in stock and available at this time. Based on your post description, the keypads and key pad ribbon have started to degrade and aren't making contact when pressed. Thanks

Hello Musi. Make sure the strike is good and the harness is good. If so, you will need to order and replace the control board on the unit.

Darren, Based on the description it sounds like there is a power supply problem with either the connection at the power supply box at the base of the dishwasher, or possibly a bad breaker.

Ian for Model Number Frigidaire PLD2855RFC1

The buttons have essentially stopped working and it happened out of the blue. Everything worked fine and then all of the sudden only certain settings would work. After that we would push the "Start/Cancel" button and it would cancel. Then within a few minutes that button stopped responding as well. As of now the only button that works is the "Lower Rack Only" button but the start button doesn't work so it;s useless. Our only way of stopping that cycle after pushing the button is to shut off all power to the dishwasher. My guess is that there is a short somewhere but I don't know if it's the control panel, board, or something else. Any help would be appreciated. Also, if you think it's the control panel or board and it turns out not to be is the part returnable? Thanks for your help. You are an awesome organization!

Mike S. for Model Number PLD2855RFC0 (Frigidaire Professional Series)

This dishwasher worked flawlessly until I used the "Delay Start" button for the first time. Since then, I seem to be unable to program the dishwasher in any cycle. It will randomly start on its own, run partial cycles before shutting off, and provide bogus displays. By pressing any of the buttons, other than the "START/CANCEL" button (which does nothing), the unit will cycle between showing a 96 minute display to running with a blank display to turning off. This happens with all of the buttons, including the "Delay Start." Repeatedly pressing the "No Heat Dry/ Lock" button will sequentially display numbers 1 thru 8 and seemingly cycle the unit through different wash cycles (per the changes in sound). Turning off the power for extended periods has made no difference. In fact, when the power is turned back on, the display remains blank, instead of displaying the typical "PF" indicator. Is all of this bizarre behavior due to a faulty touchpad, or do I need to just replace the main PC control board? It doesn't seem as though all of the buttons on the touchpad should suddenly start doing weird things... all at once. Any advice? Thanx...

DIY, To replace the touchpad ribbon, you would disconnect the power from the unit. Once disconnected you will remove the screws holding the inner liner in place. Lift the inner liner and disconnect the ribbon harness from the control board. It may be necessary to remove the control board in order to get the harness in and out. Peel the touchpad from the front control panel of the unit and install the new one and reassemble.

Michael for Model Number Pld2855rfc0

My dishwaher pld2855rfc0 is not staying on. When we press normal wash, the number 96 appears on the front panel, which means we have 96 minutes to the run the full cycle. Unfortunately the number 96 (or sometimes it runs down to 89) starts to dim or blink and then just stops. We then get a blinking PF on the front panel. Then we hit the cancel button, and try again. Most of the time it stays on for a second or two and then stops again. What part should i order to fix this problem? Thanks.

Hello Michael, You will want to check the main power coming into the unit under the toe panel. Check to make sure that you are getting no less than 108 vac and no more than 132 vac. If you are getting outside this range then you will need to check home supply line. You will also want to check the heater circuit to make sure that it is good. Check wiring to make sure that there are no broken or loose wires. If all this checks ok then you will need to replace the control board.

Hello Jim, This sounds like either a bad connection or the touch pad you mentioned. First thing you should try is to open the door assembly and unplug the ribbon cable that attaches the touch pad to the control board. Using a pencil eraser and only rubbing in the direction of the traces, use the eraser as you would erase, to clean the traces. If upon re-assembly, the unit still doesn't work, replace the touch pad 154568603.
