For Frigidaire User Interface Control Board (Part Number: OEM21052194)

Steve M for Model Number FGHC2331PFAA

Portions of the digits on my user interface panel do not work so I need to replace it. I understand P/N 242058232 is the item I need. My question....are the digits on the unit you sell "green" in color like my other Fridigaire appliances. In my search for a replacement someone said the replacement unit they bought had "yellow" digits and I do not want that. I want the display to be the same color (green) as the other appliances in our kitchen. Once I hear back from you I will order. Thank You

Steve, It does appear that the digits on the user interface should be green but does not show us whether the manufacturer made a change to the part.

Had interface changed twice before and was under warranty. now out again out of warranty but only 7months whats up with Frigidaire.

Mine, Chances are the compressor is not running. Pull out the unit and see if it's running. Check to make sure the condenser fans running. Part # 5304512686 is the relay and most often the cause for the compressor not running

Andy, You are on target, any issues(improper display, buttons/key pads etc.) on the dispenser control board, will require the 5304527931 / 242058232 User Interface to make the repair. Just remember to remove power to the refrigerator, before you start the repair, you don't want to create more issues with the other electrical components in the refrigerator. The part is in stock and available at this time. Thanks,

Jim, The user interface would not cause the unit to have that high of a fluctuation in the temps of the refrigerator and freezer. You will want to check to make sure that the condenser motor is running and if it is then this sounds likely that there will be an issue with a possible floating restriction in the sealed system and may need to have service for this.

Karl, Yes, whenever you work on any electrical component of any machine, the power has to be removed. That removes the possible "shock hazard" and damage to the components or wires if the wires or component should fall or roll and touch the chassis or chassis ground.
