Rae December 01, 2013 for Model Number LSC6244AQ0 My agitator seems broken. It turns fine at the bottom, but halfway up, its loose and doesn't turn properly when doing the wash. Is my solution just to purchase a new agitator? Or is there possibly more of a problem. Thanks for your help!
Kerry October 18, 2013 for Model Number wjre5550h1ww The video is not available on how to replaced the agitator for the GE hydrowave. Note I have the regular agitator #WH43X10034, not the flat agitator. How do I remove it? Is the tall agitator like mine bolted in? Thanks!
Larry October 03, 2013 for Model Number GE Hydrowave GTWN4250D0WS Like many others I have clothes caught under the agitator and need to take it off to free the draw strings of the pants. From reading other answer it looks like it might pull off (perhaps using a rope?) but didn't want to assume that if a bolt holds it in place. Unbolt or pull? Also, is there anything I can do to prevent this machine from eating things? Our old GE washer never did that! Thanks for your help!

Stephanie September 27, 2013 for Model Number WLSR3000G5WW Hi. I have this part on my washer that just doesn't want to come up. The came came off with a good hard tug but this piece is not wanting to come up. I have read some other posts where they say to put a rope under to help with leverage and pull up but nothing budged. Can you help? Thanks :)
1 Answer Stephanie, When you put the rope under the agitator and use leverage you will want to work your way around the agitator with the rope to get the agitator off. Also pull the agitator cap and just make sure that there is no bolt holding the agitator in place. Read More...
Justin L September 14, 2013 for Model Number GE Profile WPRB8050D1WW We are constantly getting lint on our clothes from the washing machine. Already tried the basic troubleshooting tips. Think we might have to clean the lint trap. Guessing it's somewhere in the agitator. How can I remove the agitator in this model to get to the lint trap? If there's a screw, then it is difficult to get to because underneath the fabric softener assembly is a hard round plastic cap that I can't get out from the center of the agitator assembly. Thank you for any help you can provide.
1 Answer Justin, You will want to take a rope or something similar and run it under the agitator. Working your way around, pull up on the agitator. You will need to use leverage and force to do this. Read More...
