Tom February 11, 2017 for Model Number GE JKP90DPBB I have gone through two controls boards, Part # WB27T11249 (Main Control) and Part # WB27T11340 (Control Panel) and now for third time it has happened in 3.5 year. The part identified above are the parts that have been ordered and replaced twice and with large markups. I want to make sure there are the correct parts for my model before I order them on my own and then pay someone to install. Please advise. Note its on by itself when the door is closed, it gave me messages that the panel was shorted out as well. Can you think of what might be causing these continual failures? On the repair invoices they list the model as JKP90DP3BB
1 Answer Tom, Yes these will be the correct parts WB27T11249 control board and the control panel WB27T11340. Read More...

Steve January 22, 2015 for Model Number JKP90DP1BB My microwave of my double door wall oven makes a humming noise and does not shut off unless the door is opened or it is shut off at the breaker box. When information is punched onto the control panel it will not start and door micro switches are good.
1 Answer Steve, Based on the information, the most likely cause for the unit humming when door is closed and not operating would be a bad control board part number WB27T11249. Read More...
Jim October 15, 2014 for Model Number J KP90S P4SS Our Microwave started Humming & the Control Panel side got very warm. I un-plugged the Magetron power & it still Hummed. The Transforner looks fine to me. I checked all 3 Door switches & they are working correctly. I un-plugged the Control Board power & the Hum stopped. I assume the Control Board (RAS-SM27D, P/N DE41-00359A) is bad; Agree? What Part do I need? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Jim, A low frequency "growl" is normally an indication of a transformer issue. Verify on the primary side that 120Vac is getting to the high voltage transformer. If it is, the high voltage transformer WB27X10189 is the issue. Read More...
Leon M December 30, 2013 for Model Number JKP90DP3BB On your display of the Control Panel, two screws are shown, and the Control Panel appears to be on the front of the microwave next to the door. Am I correct in assuming that it is not necessary to remove the microwave from the wall in order to replace the Control Panel?
1 Answer Leon, No you would not need to remove the microwave to change the control panel. You would need to remove the air grill and the screws holding in the control panel. Read More...
Leon December 26, 2013 for Model Number JKP90DP3BB The microwave of my double door wall appliance does not shut off unless the door is opened or it is shut off at the breaker box. When information is punched onto the control panel it appears to operate normally until the time you set expires. At that time it continues to heat but the fan stops runnning.
1 Answer Hello Leon. If the relay is sticking, you will need to replace the main control board WB27T11249 on the unit. Read More...
