Arden February 09, 2014 for Model Number GE JBP30WA2WW All 4 top burners do not work. Electric connection is good 220v to stove. Oven & broil elements work.
1 Answer Hello Arden. If all four top burners are not working then it sounds like you have a bad or burnt common wire coming from the power to the infinite switches. If you have a meter back track from the switches to power supply and you should find the bad wire. Read More...
Tootie January 15, 2014 for Model Number KGRS205TSS My Kitchenaid control panel no longer works. Can't turn the oven on and when on occasion it does come on it will run for about 1 minute and then it shuts off. None of the other choies on the face panel will work at all. Model # KGRS205036. Serial # DW1323036.
1 Answer Hello Tootie. If there is power to the control WP8507P351-60 and nothing works, you will need to replace the board in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. 1 Answer David, If there is a storage drawer, open the drawer and look on the frame of the unit around the drawer opening. Also check when you open the oven door, on the frame near the hinges. The last place would be on a tag on the inside of the oven. Read More...
Dave April 01, 2013 for Model Number J BP26W Y2WW We turned our oven on to cook our Easter ham and the oven started to make an odd humming sound. When we opened the oven to see the ham, we found that the bottom element would not turn off, and the temp knob turned freely without any resistance. I am think that the control board has gone bad. Can you verify that this is what I need and confirm that this is the correct control panel? Thank you.
1 Answer Dave, If you turned the oven to the off position and the bake element continued to stay on then the clock would be bad and need to be replaced. The correct part number for the control is WB27X10311. Read More...
