Satyendra August 10, 2015 for Model Number Model # GDT530PSD0SS GE Dishwasher Hi. I had issue where the flooding sensor broke and we keep running the dishwasher. Finally I realized it and changed the flood sensor. After that the dishwasher started working fine but dishes will not dry and slightly wet on top (plates will dry). I figured that it's heating element and replaced that. It has not helped and I continue to have same issue. Checked to make sure that heating element is fine (multi-meter shows resistance ). Got hold of machine codes and ran test only for the heating element and it's cold. Reading here it seems that this could be control board ? Thank you very much already.
1 Answer Hello Satyendra. You need to check the thermostat under the unit. If it is bad, you will need to replace the drain pump kit WD49X23779. It comes with a new thermostat. If it is good, replace the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
