Silvereagle May 27, 2015 for Model Number wr30x10093 icemaker Icemaker won't take on water. I filled it manually.Freezes but wont cycle to drop the cubes. I tried the reset and nothing happens. I cchanged out he little motor -Nothing happened. Thinking it might be the thermocouple. Help!!!
1 Answer Hello Slivereagle. Make sure the freezer is between 0° and 5°. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Bob April 07, 2015 for Model Number TFX25ZPBC BB I went to check ice yesterday and the STOP lever had raised about an inch or two and was stopped there. The prongs (whatever they are) in the back were up a few inches also but everything is locked. I tried using a hair blower to make sure that nothing was frozen and stopped the levers from moving. No results. I don't mind replacing the icemaker if necessary.
