For Ge Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly (Part Number: OEM20674845)

Hello Slivereagle. Make sure the freezer is between 0° and 5°. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Glenda, When you pull the icemaker out you will want to check the fill tube that comes to the icemaker. If this is frozen then it would need to be cleared. If the issue is no ice or water then the filter head would be the most likely culprit.

David, In most cases when the green light is not working the issue will be a faulty icemaker but you will want to check to make sure that there is power going to the icemaker. If there is no power to the icemaker then you will need to replace the control board. If there is power then the issue will be the icemaker.

Brian, With the fill tube freezing, this would be caused by a water valve that is not closing all the way. You will want to replace the dual water valve on the unit. The part number for the water valve is WR57X33326.
