Betty January 05, 2020 for Model Number JBP64BB2CT 8 inch burner will sometimes heat up sometimes not. We are concidering changing the switch first if that does not work ths element next. is this a reasonable way to go about it. I see 2 switches which one is for the 8 inch burner? Thanks Betty
1 Answer Betty, Sounds like a plan, if the element heats up it is good...in most cases, an erratic issue will be the switch as the elements are either good or bad. The switch needed should be WB24T10027 Read More...
Daryl October 24, 2019 for Model Number JA624RN1SS The right front burner on my stove will not heat up all the way. A typical sized pot of water will get hot but never come to a boil. Is this an Infinite control switch issue or a heating element?
1 Answer Hello Daryl, You can test the infinite switch WB24T10027 to see if that is the problem. If the infinite switch tests good, the surface element WB30X26465 will be the issue. Read More...
Susan October 09, 2017 for Model Number AP2024074 I have an oven light that will not turn off. What is the part called that I would need to resolve this issue? Will the part listed fix the problem?

Nick October 29, 2016 for Model Number GE jbp78w0b4ww Right front large dual element burner stays on high regardless of setting. Should I replace the infinite switch or the burner sensor? Where is the burner sensor and how do you remove it?
Larry May 04, 2016 for Model Number RB525H4WH There are two controls listed for the infinite control switch. One says 2100 watt and nothing on the other (this is on the parts list). I need it for the larger burner if that helps you know which one I should purchase Thanks Larry
1 Answer Larry, presumably by "larger burner" you mean the left rear or front right coil element which would be an 8" element(s). In that case you will need the WB24T10027 Infinite Control Switch (2100 watt, switch). Read More...
Sandy March 28, 2015 for Model Number JBP66W0H2WW the two large burners on my stove quit working completely. they worked one day and just quit next time I tried to use them. one has been out about a year the other just yesterday.
1 Answer Sandy, We're pretty sure you'll need to replace both the 8 in. Infinite switches WB24T10027 It's not a difficult repair, remove power to the range, remove the rear control panel and knobs. Remove the two small screws that retain the switches to the control panel, Label or mark the wires and disconnect them from the switch( you'll need to make sure the wires are installed on the same terminals as they were on the original switch. sometimes the manufacturer will relocate the terminals on replacement parts). Win826 February 04, 2013 for Model Number JBP78W0B4WW i've a GE Spectra range oven model # JBP78W0B4WW used for at least 10 years. The right front outer large burner is erratic (smaller inner burner is fine). The symptom is larger outter right front burner often won't turn on while even the selector switch is on "large burner". However, it would occasionally turn on from cold but won't stay on for prolonged period fo time. Would it be a good bet the switch should fix it? And if so, is this switch the right part for the model JBP78W0B4WW ? thanks
1 Answer Hello Win826, Based on the information it does sound like the infinite switch is faulty and you would want to replace it. The part number WB24T10027 is the correct part number for your RF element. Read More...
