Bob, Unfortunately The key pad / overlay assembly is not available as a separate component. You would need to replace the WR55X10859/WR55X10859 Interface Dispenser Assembly in order to solve the cracked "dispenser choices panel". Sorry, but Thanks,

Avrum, Yes, there is a replacement part for the interface assembly. You are probably looking for an "overlay" plastic panel. That part is not available as a separate component. You will need to order the WR55X10859 / WR55X10859 Interface Dispenser Assembly, it is sold as an assembly, and individual parts aren't available. The WR55X10859 is in stock and available at this time. Thanks

Hello Jeff. Make sure all wiring is good. If so, it sounds like the main board on the unit may have failed. It provides the power to the dispenser board.

Heisslerm for Model Number GE GSS23GW side by side Refrigerator

My GE GSS23GW side by side refrigerator stopped working after a power outage. It started working after 3 Days. Now, just a week ago stopped again and remains dead. When plugged in, compressor does not make any noise, fans do not work, both sides of fridge are warm, just lights work. Temperature control board is dead and a ticking noise comes from it, but no lights, no water, nothing else. Based in your tips, I checked on relay capacitator for any damage sign or rattling noise, but nothing seems out of the ordinary. Motherboard also does not seem to have any black burning spot in the back though. But fridge does not start, please help, I am lost.

HeisslerM, If the unit has no power to it at all and there is a clicking noise that is coming from it then the main control board has failed and will need to be replaced.

I changed out the main control board after power outage caused it to not work any more. All the fans, compressor and lights are working now. My problem is that I am unable to set the temperature on the front control panel of the door. The lights for the water filter, and light comes on, and the temperature indicator blinks for 10 seconds with 00 for both the freezer and refrigerator side, then goes to a series of 0s for 5 seconds. I've done the 3 second hold down of all four buttons in order to run a diagnostic test, but nothing happen - I am unable to set the temperature for either side. Have you seen this issue before? Thanks, Curtis

Curtis, The most likely cause of this issue will be a display board that was damaged by the power surge. You would want to replace the display board for his issue.

Curtis, The voltage spike also damaged the dispenser interfaceWR55X10859. It can't communicate with the "motherboard" you'll need to replace it as well.

Miguel for Model Number GSH25JSTASS

I have a problem with my refrigerator, if someone can help me out? The lights turn on in the inside, but it's not cooling down. The interface dispenser ASM does not turn on. I've tried to reset it, but it looks to me like there is no reset button, and I've disconnected it as well for 5 to 10 minutes, and connect it back on. It's happened before when the lights went out, and it's happening again but it doesn't work.I'd like to know, how do I go by this? Please help. thanks.

Hello Adrienne. The -9 is showing the temp in the freezer. If you set it to 0, and it does not move up to 0 within 12 hours, then the main board WR55X10942C on the unit may not be working properly and will need to be replaced.
