Pierre April 09, 2018 for Model Number GSD6000 I noticed that the other type of relay/lock on the other side of #WD21X10224 (interlock switch) is cracked. I can't seem to find that one listed here or is it the same interlock switch flopped around?
Fred February 17, 2017 for Model Number WMH53520CS-1 Our microwave number at left was manufactured in July of 2014. Recently it started having issues. It sometimes will not start. I have noticed that when I either open and shut the door several times it will start. Also, sometimes when I push up on the control panel it will start. Recently, it starts by itself and will not shut off. When it does this, however it does not heat up. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
1 Answer Hello Fred, You will need to check the door latch and the door switches in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Kevin January 30, 2017 for Model Number GE Dishwaher GLD5604V00WW My wife stopped the dishwasher before it finished it's cycle. She also turn off a water valve that supplied water to this and a filter for an ice maker. Well she realized she had stopped before the cycle finished . She tried to start it again but the lights on two buttons start/reset and heat cycle just blinked along with a beep every 30 seconds or so. I tried some button combinations I found on the net, but it continued. So I shut the breaker off for 10 minutes no help. I left it the breaker off over night, again the same. So what I did then was when I reset it before the lights could blink I turned off the breaker on and off pretty fast a number of times. Now no blinking , still didn't work but it stopped blinking. But it still beeps every 30 seconds? Suggestions?
1 Answer Kevin, Based on the information it sounds like this would be caused by a faulty control board on the unit causing the unit to not operate. Read More...
Brandon September 06, 2015 for Model Number GE Quiet Power 3 Dishwasher Our dishwasher stopped working. No response at all. I turned power off at breaker and back on. Lights came back on, but panel not responsive. Lights went back off after a couple minutes. What can i look at replacing first? There are two thermal interlock switches. Could these have gone bad?
1 Answer Brandon, It's not likely to be the door switches or thermal fuse. You have voltage into the control board, or the lights wouldn't illuminate at all. You most likely have a failed key pad assembly or damaged ribbon, so when you press a key there's no data transmitted to the control board and the dishwasher won't program or start. Read More...
Gary M August 11, 2015 for Model Number GLD6500L00WW Occasionally dishwasher will not drain. Other times it works fine. When not draining properly, I can hear a pause when pump should activate, but not doing so. Is it an intermittent control problem? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Gary. You would need to see if there was power to the pump during this time or if there was no power. If power was there, bad pump. No power means bad board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Mindy D May 27, 2014 for Model Number GLD5850L00CS My dishwasher will just stop about mid cycle and beep. It just continues to beep every 30 seconds or so. All the lights stay on solid, not flashing. I can open and shut the door and it still won't start back up. I use to be able to just push on the door, by the handle area, and the washer would start back up. It is not doing that anymore. My husband tore it apart and said there is a spring in there that he thinks is warped or damaged and not allowing the washer to know the door is shut. What could this be?
1 Answer Mindy, Based on the description, with the lights all being on steady but the unit not running, it sounds like the issue would caused by either bad door switches or a control board failure. You can check the switches by doing a continuity test on them. If they check ok then the issue is most likely the control board. Read More...
Scott K July 22, 2013 for Model Number GHDA405L00BB Our dishwasher stops at random and we have to close the door very firmly and press just below the handle are and to the right to get it to start again. Is there a sensor or a board that might be causing this that we can replace?

Bonnie October 08, 2012 for Model Number gld5800l00ww I have replaced the main board, keyboard control board (the green one), and the air diverter switch. When I turn on dishwasher, just have a constant "clean" blinking light. Looked at directions, said to hold down reset button, that's the only way the blinking will stop. The dishwasher won't run at all. It hasn't worked for four months, help! Do I need a switch?
1 Answer Hi. FLASHING DISPLAY LIGHTS :Status Indicator Lights What It Means...START/RESET Cycle has been interrupted by pressing the START/RESET START/RESET keypad. Light will quit ?ashing after keypad. Light will quit ?ashing after the dishwasher automatically drains out the water. Remove the drain hose at the sink connection. Use a screwdriver to see if it is clogged. Remove the drain hose at the pump and clear the hose. Also make sure the drain hose is clamped as far up under the sink using a loop and then taught to the sink connection. Make sure the drain pump part # WD26X22719 impeller is not spinning loose on the pump shaft. Thank You. Read More...
