Hello Tammy. You need to have the orange wire to A, B is red, C is double brown, T is white, S is black from buzzer, X is triple yellow, and D is orange/black and red from push to start switch. Timer motor is hooked to D and T.

Richard, You probably do need a new timer WE4M527, this type/style timer shouldn't be that difficult to turn and set in a cycle. You do want to make sure you save or purchase the metal knob insert WH01X10106 when you replace or install a new timer knob. The insert keeps the knob from cracking or breaking.

Gary, This timer would be a one directional timer in which you will want to make sure that when turning the knob you are turning it the proper direction. If you are then the issue would most likely be that you received a faulty timer.
