Rick for Model Number LFX25973D/00

the ice maker works fine except the ice cubes get hung up in the despinsor hole and the it just grinds the ice up and it freezes up and no ice will come out. In fact the ice rotation device won't even turn after it grinds up the ice. It doesn't matter if it is set on crushed or cubed ice. Fact it's worse on crushed ice setting. I have to literally jerk the ice box out because it get frozen up at the bottom with the chute freezing full of ice. This is happening about every 3 to 4 days i have to make a mess and get the ice box out and beat up the frozen ice in the dispenser to clear it out. Then it works until the ice freezes up and won't come out. Never used to do that but have been putting up with it for a long time now. Any advice would be appreciated.

Rick, Based on the information provided I would recommend checking the dispenser assembly to see if the small ice door is closing all the way. It sounds like you have an air leak causing this ice up.
