Hello GK. Most likely the RPS Sensor. However, can be the board or wiring harness, but would start with the sensor.

My LG washer's tub stopped spinning. In Trouble Shooting mode, the drum will move slightly and then shake a little. I measure each winding set of the stator, each combo was about 8.1ohms. Again, with the washer in T/S mode I measured 208V on 2 combos and 0 on the third. I ordered the 6871ER1003C Control Boards (incorrectly listed on this site), but I am getting the same result. Except for one difference. I am only getting 208V on on output combo from the new board.

M. Smith, This issue sounds like it would be caused by a rotor position sensor 6501KW2002B which is the most common reason for the tub to not spin and to be jumpy in the test mode.

Ric for Model Number WM2277HW

My LG washer is getting an LE error. The Tech came out and swapped the hall sensor and the stator assembly to no avail. He thinks it's the Main PCB. He didn't have a rotor to swap. On your website, I see two part numbers . 6871ER1003C and 6871ER1003F. Which one is correct. Is this part number on the board itself? When I put the washer in SPI cycle, the drum will not move and after 3 or 4 min I get the LE. When I put it in RINSE CYLE only. The drum will move in both direction sometimes but is a bit noisy and eventually display LE. When I power off the washer and move the drum by hand clockwise and counter I don't feel a lot of resistance. Please advise.

Ric, The LE error code would not generally have anything to do with the control board. These are the things that would need to be checked. The connector 3 pin male white in the motor harness for being connected to the connector 3 pin female white of the stator assembly. The electric contact between the connectors in the motor harness and 4 pin female white connector in the main pwb assembly for being bad or unstable. The motor harness between the stator assembly and the main pwb assembly is cut (open circuit). The hall sensor has already been replaced so it will not be that. But the wiring needs to be checked.

Hello M.D., This sounds like a communication problem between boards. The usual fix is to check the electrical connections by dis-connecting and re-connecting the connectors one at a time. The service manual says this: • The connector (3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR HARNESS is not connected to the connector (3-pin, female, white) of STATOR ASSEMBLY. • The electric contact between the connectors (3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR HARNESS and 4-pin, female, white connector in the MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY is bad or unstable. • The MOTOR HARNESS between the STATOR ASSEMBLY and MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY is cut (open circuited). • The hall sensor is out of order/defective. Let us know if we can assist you further.
