Ken, This issue sounds like the run winding on the motor may be bad. The unit will start via the start winding and after a few seconds the centrifugal switch switches to the run winding and keeps unit running. The motor windings should have a resistance value of 3-5 ohms. Check from terminals 1 to 3 for resistance values.

Jay, Cleaning or replacing the sensor bar(s) and checking the wires from the bar(s) to the control board, is a good place to start. The more likely issue is a communication error in the main control board 6871EL1013A or a connection between the two boards 6871EL1007A is most likely at fault.

Brent, There are two sensor bars, located on the front bulkhead near the lint filter. Wet clothes create a short across the two sensors and keep the dryer running, until the clothes are dry enough to allow the circuit to change and short to ground and allow the control to turn the unit off, Check and make sure both sensor bars are present, the wires are connected and is all appears OK, clean the sensor bar and area with alcohol, to remove any chemical build up on the bars, Thanks and Good Luck

Leng, The dryness sensor has nothing to do with the heating of the dryer. You need to check the glow bar igniter 5318EL3001A and radiant sensor 6501EL3001A for proper circuitry, the thermostats AGM30045804 AGM30045804 AGM30045804 AGM30045804. They should all have "closed" circuits at room temperature(78 dgrs.) when you check across the terminals with a multimeter. heres some meter usage information, should you need it [http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html] Good Luck and Thanks
