Jack November 17, 2015 I have a LDF7810ST dishwasher. Its making squeaking noise when it's in drain and wash cycles. Not sure if I need to replace sump and motor assembly.
1 Answer Hello Jack, If you have opened the pump assembly and made sure nothing like a bread tie is around the impeller, the pump assembly 3485ED1002B should be replaced. Read More...

Kazper February 19, 2014 for Model Number LG dishwasher ldf6920st There are a couple things going on with my dishwasher. First, the top rack of dishes only cleans some items. Many times there is residue left on the dishes. I rinsed all of the arms (twice) and cleaned out gunk that was in the sump assembly area. The problem continued. One repair person mentioned that our water might not be hot enough. We always run it for a few minutes until it is hot before starting the cycle. The other thing is that the washer makes a rather loud grinding noise during the cycle. It seems to come on roughly 5 minutes after it has started and continues until the end of the cycle. I am wondering if this suggests a new sump assembly is needed and if you believe that would solve both problems.
1 Answer Kazper, Based on the description, the issue sounds like it may be a bad diverter motor which turns the check valve and switches the water from lower to upper. The part number for this will be 4681ED3001D Read More...
Jeff January 21, 2014 for Model Number LDF7810ST Hello, I keep getting an error code "LE" and it doesn't seem to be draining. My research shows I might need a Sump Assy. Does this sound right ? And if so which part number would I need for this model dishwasher? Would the Sump Assy come as a total unit with all gaskets, etc. for re-assembly? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Jeff, This is the error code for an abnormally operating motor assembly. If there is nothing restricting the rotation of the motor and there is no clog in the drain line, replace the wash motor 3485ED1002B. If the problem persists after the wash motor assembly has been replaced, the PCB 6871DD1006G has failed. I'm sorry but this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided. Read More...

John July 19, 2013 for Model Number LG Dishwasher LDS5811BB Fills but won't drain, gives error code?? I removed all the parts necessary inside the tub to get down to the impeller. I cannot turn it by hand at all. Does that indicate a bad motor? Also in looking at parts what all parts are included in the sump assembly? Thanks
1 Answer Hello John. Yes, based on the information you provided you will need to replace the sump assembly 3485ED1002B. It has a new drain and circulation pump and new actuator and sensor as well as the heater. Read More...
Studioxyz May 15, 2013 for Model Number LDF7811ST Hi My dishwasher started reporting error OE (drainage problem) and some research revealed that replacing the sump assembly is somewhat of a catchall solution. I replaced the sump assembly and ran the dishwasher to test the fix. It still does exactly what it did before replacing the parts. The first cycle runs but the error presents when moving on to the next. The drainage hose is clear (I can blow through it to force water into the garbage disposal) so I'm not sure what to check next. Any ideas?
1 Answer Studioxyz, You will want to check for power getting to the drain pump. If power is not getting to the drain pump then you will want to check the control board for sending power. If the control is sending power then you would need to check the wiring and if not then replace control board. Read More...
