Rick May 14, 2019 for Model Number RF265ABWP/XAA-0000 My refrigerator makes ice but water does not flow through the filter. I had ordered the wrong filter and it didn't fit but now with the right filter it no longer filters the water. Also, I have a regular screw in fitting behind the grill on the bottom. Will this housing still work?

2 Answers Chris, Apparently this is the copper water supply tube from the water supply pipe to the refrigerator filter inlet tube. The "john guess" compression fittings wont work well with copper tubing. You'll need a 1/4" OD tube to tube union (it should have the compression ferrules) and a 1/4" sleeve insert for the "pex" tube to the filter housing(so the tube doesn't collapse when the compression nut is tightened. I understand I can just connect new housing to existing hoses inside refrigerator, but if I wanted to use the entire new housing kit (new hoses included), it looks like (according to the video) I need a new copper compression fitting to connect copper water line to new housing plastic water line? Do you sell that compression fitting (nut, compression ring, sleeve, and center fitting)?
