Terry April 30, 2025 for Model Number RF261BEAESR Had water leaking out the back of the ice maker flow tube, replaced that and it is making ice again. Also had water frozen under the crisper on the floor of the fridge. That was thawed and all cleaned up during the flow tube replacement. New water filter installed as well. Now there is a small amount of water leaking under the water filter into the crisper. How do I know if it is the water filter housing assembly or the blue valve behind it? Also why does the above assembly fail?

Dan C October 25, 2022 for Model Number RF260BEAEWW My refrigerator (RF260BEAEWW) has no water despenser only ice maker. When the water is being despensed I get a loud vibrating noise when the filter is installed but not when I remove the filter. I tried two filters. It seems the noise is coming from Assy Case-Filter Tank (DA97-12663A). The hoses in back of refrigerator vibrate as well. Does it seem like I should replace DA97-08006D (Water fillter Housing Assembly) or the complete Assembly (DA97-12663A)? Also, do I have the correct part numbers for my refrigerator?
1 Answer Dan, it would be recommended that the water pressure going to the refrigerator is tested to identify if it is between 40 to 90 PSI (60 to 80 PSI is optimal). Susieq December 28, 2018 for Model Number RFG297AABP/XAA Overnight no ice or water from french door, bottom freezer. Have spent over 2 hrs on phone and online with Samsung and no body can tell me what I need to repair or replace. It is a clear tank that the water sits in until it goes to the ice maker or water dispenser. It reminds me of a Supersoaker squirt gun water tank.
