Chuck N February 07, 2016 for Model Number dw7933lrabb I bought an assy-case sensor part #ap5176868 from appliance parts. I am still getting same high water error the assy case is filling up completely with water until it touch the two wires at top. Dishwasher will stop.
1 Answer Chuck, If the case assembly did not correct the issue then either the water valve is sticking open or there is a issue with the control board of the unit. Read More...
Doug February 01, 2016 for Model Number Samsung DW7933 Hello, Dishwasher starts to fill and then stops and drains, while flashing code for over level water error. After reading a few similar problems online, I checked case flow assy for clogging, but it looked ok. After hooking dishwasher back up, I tried running it again while watching case flow assy: the float rises to the top, and that is when dishwasher shows error code and starts to drain. Do you see this as needing a new case flow assy unit, or could it be something else? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Doug. Yes, you will need to order and replace the case assembly on the unit. Read More...
Jason January 21, 2016 for Model Number DMT400RHS/XAA I am getting an error code of over fill. The unit starts up and fills with water and then the 2 lights for smart auto and heavy start flashing and the unit pumps the water out. So from everything I'm reading its is this sensor issue with the Samsung dishwashers. I just wanted to confirm that this part is the correct one for my model. DMT400RHS/XAA Thanks
1 Answer Hello Jason. You will need to order DD94-01005A for the correct one for your model. Read More...
April November 13, 2015 for Model Number Samsung DW7933LRASR After loading my D/W as usual this morning....I pushed the POWER button and there wasn't any light or noise ,so I also pushed the ON button as well & there wasn't any light or noise from pushing the buttons.....however, the D/W did make a DRAINING sound & proceeded to STOP a few seconds later. I'm perplexed as to what is going on with the D/W....we've only had it since Dec of 2014.......Thank you so much for HELPING me to UNDERSTAND what may be going on with my Samsung :D I look forward to hearing from YOU :D
1 Answer Hello April. You will need to see if there is power coming to the control panel. If so, you will need to replace the control panel DD97-00169A on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Rob Thomas October 28, 2015 for Model Number DW7933LRASR/AA-0001 Tub will not fill and the Smart Auto button will start flashing. Replaced the water inlet valve per an A&E technician's recommendation from a service call and still have the same issue. Can tell the relay on the PCB board tells the valve to activate and no water flows still. Water is turned on of course. The Brake assembly and Sensor assembly beside it look clean and clear. I have ordered a new PCB, Brake assembly and Brake sensor. Any ideas on the issue and how to fix my problem.
1 Answer Hello Rob, There are three parts that can cause this condition: The PBA DD92-00033A, the water supply valve DD62-00084A, or the flow meter DD94-01006A. The flow meter is a common failure on this design when mineral deposits and sedimentation are present in the water supply. Read More...
Robert J October 13, 2015 for Model Number DMT800RHW/XAA Initial error code 4E, replaced water supply valve, brake case assy, brake case assy sensor, and the PCB main board. Started dishwasher started working then shutdown and started pumping out water, gives error code LE now, won't turn off have to unplug it. I took bottom off didn't see any water but took hair dryer to all electrical plugs and connections anyway. Put back together plugged in dishwasher and tried it. It worked through almost all cycles then shutdown again and shows error code LE again. I've ordered ne brake assy gasket that goes on inside of dishwasher and leak sensor. Dishwasher is just out of warranty. What else could it be? AND PLEASE DON'T TELL ME TO CONTACT A SAMSUNG AUTHORIZED REPAIR. I did that and I knew more than the tech.
1 Answer Hello Robert. Water Supply Error. Check for clogged screens. Make sure the water supply is good. If so, either the valve, flow meter, or main board is bad on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Phillip October 01, 2015 for Model Number DW7933LRASR/AA-0001 Dishwasher comes on water starts to come in then is pumped right back out. this continues to happen. I Replaced the control board, but it does the same thing .over and over again. If i leave the dishwasher on it would continuously pumps the water in then pumps it out again never starting the wash cycle, thanks.
1 Answer Phillip, The most likely cause for the issue of the drain pump continuously running would be a stuck or damaged sensor. The part number for the sensor would be DD94-01006A. Read More...
Sandi May 22, 2015 for Model Number DMT400RHW/XAA Our dishwasher turns on fine; as it starts to fill with water, the Smart Auto light starts flashing. Is this some type of sensor problem?
1 Answer Sandi, The smart auto light flashing would indicate that there is a water fill error. You will want to check for clog in the water valve check to make sure that there is power getting to the water valve. If there is power to the water valve but does not fill then the issue will be the water valve being defective. If the water valve is not getting power then the control board would be the issue. Bob R. May 05, 2015 for Model Number DMT800RHS/XAA Washer does not pump out all water and also displays SE on panel. Will Case Sensor:DMT800 solve this problem?
1 Answer Bob, You will want to check the drain and the drain impeller for clogs or damage. The SE error code is stating that there is a drainage issue that the drain pump terminal is not connected, the drain is clogged or a faulty drain pump water level sensor or main control board. Read More...
Carl March 25, 2015 for Model Number DMT800RHS/XAA The soap tablet is not dissolving. I allow the water to run the in the sink before starting a wash cycle.
1 Answer Carl, With the soap not dissolving, you will want to make sure that you are running hot water in the sink, make sure that the water temperature of the incoming water is a minimum of 120 to 125 degrees Fahrenheit. If these check ok then you will want to test to see if the dishwasher heater has continuity and that there is nothing caught in the pump assembly that would cause a restricted or no water flow to the upper and lower spray arms.
