April for Model Number Samsung DW7933LRASR After loading my D/W as usual this morning....I pushed the POWER button and there wasn't any light or noise ,so I also pushed the ON button as well & there wasn't any light or noise from pushing the buttons.....however, the D/W did make a DRAINING sound & proceeded to STOP a few seconds later. I'm perplexed as to what is going on with the D/W....we've only had it since Dec of 2014.......Thank you so much for HELPING me to UNDERSTAND what may be going on with my Samsung :D I look forward to hearing from YOU :D
Answer Hello April. You will need to see if there is power coming to the control panel. If so, you will need to replace the control panel DD97-00169A on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
